SoMi

SoMi is a somatic exercise app for helping you reconnect to yourself. Check in with your body, get a short guided practice built for exactly that state, then check in again and see what moved. For stress, overwhelm, restlessness, shutdown, and the flat days in between. SoMi asks before it suggests anything. Where you land decides what you get: a different sequence for a wired evening than for a morning you can barely start. Nothing is generic, and nothing takes longer than it needs to. Every practice is short, guided on video, and works in a chair, in bed, or on the floor. No equipment, and no experience needed. HOW A DAY WORKS - Check in. Place yourself on a simple grid, between low and high energy, settled and unsettled. - Practice. A guided flow built around that state, usually five to twelve minutes. - Check in again. See what actually moved, in your own words. SIX STATES, IN PLAIN WORDS Settled. Steady. Playful. Shutdown. Freeze. Wired. Your state is weather: something you notice, name, and work with. SoMi gives you language for what you are already feeling, so you can find it faster next time. WHAT THE PRACTICES ARE Simple movements done with your eyes, your hands, and your voice, each one working on the vagus nerve — the wiring that carries your body's brake. Humming vibrates it from inside the throat; holding your head still and moving only your eyes lets the muscles at the base of the skull release. The yawn or the sigh that follows is the body starting to feel safer. WHAT'S INSIDE - Daily Flow: a new guided sequence each day, built around your check-in - Moments: short standalone practices for specific situations, from waking up to winding down - Check-ins: name where you are, as often as you like YOUR OWN RECORD - Your tide: how your states moved through today, and across the week - Weather calendar: your days at a glance, one glyph each - After every flow: what changed between the check-in before and the one after SoMi shows you your own patterns in your own words, and it gets more useful the longer you use it.
