Capture with less screen glare and more control. Screet is a black screen camera for intentional photos and user-started video when a bright preview would distract from the moment. Use it at events, on trips, in meetings or lectures with permission, and anywhere a low-distraction camera workflow feels more comfortable. BLACK SCREEN CAMERA Choose a true black capture screen, keep essential controls visible, or dim the display for a cleaner view. Black screen changes the visible appearance and brightness only. Screet stays open in the foreground, and iOS camera and microphone indicators continue to work normally. SILENT PHOTOS Silent Capture is a Screet Pro photo mode. It takes a snapshot from the live camera frame without the usual shutter sound. Silent Capture is for photos only; video is not silent. Video may include microphone audio after you grant permission. DISCREET VIDEO CONTROLS Start recording yourself with a clear action, then stop when you are done. Choose the front or rear camera, adjust zoom up to 5× when supported, and use standard flash photos when available. Select HD or 4K and record at 30 or 60 FPS on compatible devices and formats. 4K and 60 FPS depend on the iPhone model, camera, lighting and selected format. FOREGROUND BY DESIGN Screet does not record in the background, on a locked phone, or automatically. A Home Screen or Lock Screen widget, shortcut, Siri/App Shortcut phrase or deep link opens capture mode; it never starts a photo or video for you. Camera and microphone permissions are requested clearly, and capture begins only after your action. Screet is built for considerate, consent-based camera use. Follow local laws, venue rules and the expectations of people around you. Screet Pro unlocks Silent Capture and additional camera controls. Rabbit Record

Rabbit Record is a fast, minimal camera built for people who value their privacy. Tap once and start recording — no menus, no delay. Black Screen Mode lets you record discreetly with the display off, and your camera UI stays locked in place even if you rotate the device mid-recording, so nothing gets distorted. SECRET ALBUM Keep sensitive recordings out of your regular library entirely. Your Secret Album is protected by Face ID, Touch ID, or a PIN — and with Pro, you can set up a decoy PIN that opens a separate, empty vault if someone forces you to unlock it. Multiple vaults, each with its own PIN, let you keep different recordings fully separated. INTRUSION ALERTS If someone tries — and fails — to guess their way into your Secret Album, Rabbit Record can quietly capture a front-camera photo and log the attempt, so you know if your vault was targeted. ENCRYPTED BACKUP Turn on iCloud backup for your Secret Album and your videos are encrypted before they ever leave your device. FREE, WITH REAL RECORDING QUALITY Record at your device's full resolution and frame rate — up to 4K/60fps — completely free, with no watermark on exports. RABBIT RECORD PRO UNLOCKS: - Unlimited recording length (free tier caps at 5 minutes per clip) - Unlimited exports per day - Multiple Secret Album vaults with decoy PINs - Intrusion alerts - Encrypted iCloud backup Available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Verdict
Screet and Rabbit Record are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters — price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
