Pawse Pawse helps you pause before opening distracting apps on autopilot. When you reach for Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, X, Safari, games, or another distracting app without thinking, Pawse adds a short moment to stop and choose. How Pawse works 1. Choose the apps, websites, or categories you want to protect. 2. Turn on Screen Time protection. 3. When a protected app opens, Pawse gives you a brief pause. 4. Notice why you reached for your phone. 5. Keep it blocked or open intentionally for three minutes. Pawse is designed for the moments when boredom, stress, tiredness, or habit turns into an automatic scroll. Build phone control one interruption at a time - Choose routines for bedtime, mornings, work or study, idle moments, anxiety, and procrastination. - Record whether you avoided an autopilot open or chose a brief intentional open. - See your daily and weekly saves, protected time, current streak, and common triggers. - Use prompts to identify whether you were bored, tired, anxious, lonely, procrastinating, or acting from habit. - Keep protection active with a simple stop challenge instead of turning it off automatically. - Optionally use movement and focus goals when they are configured for a protected app. Care for your cat Pawse gives your phone-control practice a small, living consequence: a cat that needs care. - Food arrives daily and is measured in spoons. - Feed your cat to extend its care window. - If your cat goes 24 hours without food, it dies and you can adopt a new cat. - Opening a protected app uses one spoon when food is available. - You can still open a protected app when the pantry is empty. - If you open with no food to deduct, the next dayβs food grant is reduced by 30%. Repeated empty-food opens compound the reduction. You can buy optional food packs in the Pawse shop through the App Store: 1, 6, or 24 cans. One can equals six spoons. Screen Time and Health access Pawse uses Appleβs Screen Time and Family Controls features to protect the apps, websites, and categories you select. If you choose movement-based goals, Pawse can read steps, walking or running distance, and active calories from Apple Health. Pawse does not write Health data. Who Pawse is for Pawse is for people who: - Open apps without thinking - Scroll when bored, anxious, or tired - Lose time before sleep - Want a calmer way to reduce social media use - Want more control over their attention - Prefer a quiet pause instead of another feed or focus timer Pawse helps you replace: urge β open app β scroll β regret with: urge β pause β choose β regain control Start with one pause today. FocusKit
Read full descriptionHide full description
FocusKit is a Pomodoro study timer that keeps you honest. Step away from your desk and the session pauses. Start a session and every app except the ones you allow stays locked until it ends. STEP AWAY? THE TIMER PAUSES The front camera checks that you're still there. If it can't see you for 10 seconds (you choose 5β30), the session pauses and waits for you. Faces are detected on your device β nothing is recorded or uploaded, and you can turn it off anytime. STRICT MODE: BLOCK DISTRACTING APPS While a session runs, every app except the ones you allow stays behind a Screen Time shield. FocusKit never sees which apps you use. POMODORO, YOUR WAY Classic 25-minute Pomodoros or long deep-work blocks: set focus from 5 to 60 minutes and give each task its own length. With Pro, tune short breaks, long breaks and cycles too. A FOCUS TIMER FOR EVERY TASK Give each task a color, an icon, a focus length and a weekly goal, then pick it before you start. See exactly where your hours go. STATS THAT KEEP YOU GOING Day and week views with time by task. Pro adds month and year views, insights, a year heatmap and your full session history. Share your stats in one tap. DAILY GOAL & FOCUS STREAK Set a daily goal from 15 minutes to 8 hours and keep your streak alive. Every focused minute earns coins β spend them on streak shields for the days life gets in the way. FOCUS SOUNDS Thunder and white noise, plus rain, fire and coffee shop with Pro β seamless loops that start with every session. Pro lets you layer them. ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN A Live Activity shows the countdown on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with pause and stop. Home Screen widgets and StandBy keep today's progress in view. BUILT FOR β’ Students preparing for exams and finals β’ ADHD brains that drift β’ Deep work, writing and coding β’ Anyone trying to put the phone down FOCUSKIT PRO Unlimited tasks (the free plan includes 3), month and year stats with insights, custom breaks and cycles, every widget, every sound and mixing, and iCloud backup & restore.
