CompassLB Bible Reading Plan vs Exegesis

2026 Bible Reading Plan for Compass Bible Church Long Beach

Exegesis is a quiet, beautiful Bible reading tracker — a candlelit checklist for working through all 1,189 chapters of Scripture at your own pace. CHOOSE YOUR PATH • Straight Through — Genesis to Revelation in canonical order • Guided Chronological — the story of Scripture in the order it happened Your progress is shared between both plans: a chapter read is a chapter read. TRACK WITH DELIGHT • Tap a chapter to gild it gold — satisfying, glanceable progress • Overall, Old Testament, and New Testament stats at the top of every visit • Mark a whole book read (or clear it) in one tap • A full history of every chapter, with timestamps READ WITHOUT LEAVING • Read the English Standard Version (ESV) right in the app • Prefer the NIV? One tap opens your chapter on Bible Gateway • "Continue" always knows the next unread chapter in your plan YOURS, WITH OR WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Exegesis works completely offline with no account — your progress lives on your device. Create a free account only if you want to sync with the Exegesis web app and read alongside family and friends. You can delete your account (and all its data) from inside the app at any time. No ads. No analytics. No subscriptions. Just you and the text. Scripture quotations marked "ESV" are from the ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®), copyright © 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers. Used by permission.
