CrewHabits makes building habits easier by doing it together. Only 1 in 10 people stick with a new habit on their own. The difference? Having people who show up with you. Team up with friends in crews to stay motivated, hold each other accountable, and actually stick with it. Social Accountability Habits are harder to skip when your crew is watching. Share your progress, see when others show up, and let the gentle pressure of a group keep you consistent. It's not about perfection, it's about showing up together. Whether you want to exercise more, read daily, or drink more water, your crew keeps you on track. Build Habits Together Create crews with friends and family. Share habits, cheer each other on with reactions, and compete on leaderboards to see who's most consistent. When your crew is counting on you, showing up becomes second nature. Activity Feed & Reactions Celebrate wins together. See when your crew completes habits, react, and stay engaged with real-time activity updates. A little encouragement goes a long way. Leaderboards & Streaks Friendly competition keeps everyone motivated. See who's leading the crew, track your streaks, and climb the ranks. Nothing like a little rivalry to keep you consistent. Build a Routine from a Goal Have a bigger ambition? Type a goal like "I want to get in shape" or "I want to sleep better" and get a complete routine. Multiple complementary habits designed to work together. No more guessing what to track. Personalized Insights Spot patterns in your progress: which days you're strongest, where your streaks break, and what's working. Get suggestions that adapt as your habits evolve, so you're always improving. Quick Add Describe any habit in plain words, like "drink 8 glasses of water" or "read before bed", and it becomes a trackable habit instantly. Pick from 7 categories with dozens of suggestions across health, fitness, sleep, focus, self-care, creativity, and more. Smart Streak Protection Life happens. Skip a day when you need a break without losing your streak. Your progress pauses, not resets. Perfect for vacations, sick days, or rest days. Track Your Progress Log daily completions, build streaks, and visualize your consistency with heat maps and weekly overviews. See which days you perform best and where you tend to slip, so you can adjust and keep going. Focus Timer & Live Activities Stay locked in with a built-in focus timer. Start a session for any habit, and a mini timer pill follows you across tabs so you never lose track. On iOS, your timer appears on the lock screen and Dynamic Island through live activities. No need to open the app to check your progress. Guided Onboarding New to habit tracking? No problem. A step-by-step guide walks you through creating your first habit, from naming it to setting your frequency. You'll feel at home in seconds. iPad Optimized Full tablet support with responsive layouts: two-column views, expanded icon grids, and comfortable spacing designed for larger screens. Features: • Crews: build habits with friends and family • Social accountability with activity feed and reactions • Crew leaderboards and consistency rankings • Build a routine: share a goal, get complementary habits • Quick add: type a habit in plain words • Focus timer with live activities on lock screen • Smart streak protection with skips • Heat maps, streaks, and progress visualization • Daily, weekly, and custom frequency goals • Push notification reminders • Guided onboarding with spotlight walkthrough • iPad optimized with responsive layouts Whether you want to meditate daily, exercise more, read regularly, or build any positive routine, CrewHabits helps you stay consistent with friends by your side. $5.99 once. No subscription, ever. Every other app in this category charges you weekly to stay off your phone. One of them wants $10 a week. That's $520 a year to not open Instagram, which is about where the cure starts costing more than the disease. Merit locks the apps you pick. Getting them back costs you something real: walking, moving, standing up, sleeping. HOW EARNING WORKS No "I did it" button. Merit reads your activity out of Apple Health and does the math itself. Nothing to fake. Apps that let you type in your own workout are inviting you to lie to yourself, and plenty of people take them up on it. 1,000 steps = 5 minutes 10 minutes of exercise = 10 minutes Each stand hour = 2 minutes 7 hours of sleep = 15 bonus minutes Spend the credit to open something you blocked. When the time runs out the block comes back by itself. STUDY MODE Blocking Instagram shouldn't take your calculator with it. Merit keeps an allowlist for the things you actually need, and it's free. Every competitor has reviews complaining about this exact problem, so putting it behind a paywall wasn't something I was willing to do. FREE Blocking, the allowlist, earning from your step count. This isn't a trial. It doesn't expire. $5.99 Three more ways to earn: exercise minutes, stand hours, sleep. Separate blocking profiles, because work and Saturday don't need the same rules. And a record of where your screen time actually came from. One payment. Whatever worked before you paid still works after. PRIVACY No account. The apps you pick are stored as opaque tokens that never leave your phone, so I couldn't tell you what you blocked even if you wanted me to. Health data is read-only. One thing does get sent: a few anonymous counters, like how often the app gets opened and how many blocks ran their course. They hang off a random ID. What you blocked is not in there, and could not be. Settings has a switch if you would rather it sent nothing.
