Britishway English Academy — for our students and our staff This app is for people enrolled at, or working for, Britishway English Academy. You sign in with the registration number or staff number the academy gave you. Accounts are created by the office — you cannot register inside the app, so please do not install it unless the academy has given you an account. FOR STUDENTS Your timetable See every lecture, with its slot, room and teacher. Weekday batches with two lectures in a day show both. Your attendance Show your QR code and your teacher scans it. The code never changes and it works even when the classroom has no signal. Your results Marks appear as soon as the academy releases them, with your percentage and grade where one applies. Nothing is shown before it is released. Your homework What has been set, when it is due, and the worksheets that go with it. Your fees What is payable, what has been received and what is outstanding, with the history behind it. You can save a receipt for any payment. Your record book Attendance, results and work for every intake you have studied, together in one place, plus your progress through the levels. Notices and messages Notices from your batch, announcements from the academy, and a direct line to your teachers and the office. FOR TEACHERS AND STAFF Take the register Scan student codes, or type a registration number for anybody without their card. Scans taken with no signal are held on the phone and sent when you are back online — nothing is lost. Enter marks A full mark sheet for your batch, with present, absent and not-yet-marked kept apart so a blank is never mistaken for a zero. Half-finished sheets are saved on your phone. Set homework and notices Set work with a due date and materials, mark completions for the whole batch in one action, and post notices to your batches. Lecture photographs Post photographs of the board so a student who missed a class can catch up. They reach that batch only. Leave requests See requests from your batches and approve or decline them. PRIVACY The academy holds records about its students, and this app is a window onto them. It is not a social network. • No advertising, ever. • Your information is never sold. • We do not track your location. • Lecture photographs are visible only to the batch the lecture belongs to, and to academy staff — never publicly. Read our privacy policy and terms of use before you sign in. The app asks you to accept both the first time you open it. WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO • It does not take payments. Fees are shown for information; pay the office as you always have. • It does not replace contacting the academy. If a mark, an absence or a fee looks wrong, speak to the office — they hold the record and they are the only ones who can correct it. SUPPORT Contact the academy office. If you cannot sign in, the office can reset your password — six wrong attempts will lock an account.
