When something sounds wrong during a live production, you need to know what happened, not guess. WAVETOOL 4 helps professional audio teams hear critical sources, identify and investigate issues, and stay coordinated throughout a production. Monitor wired and wireless audio across Shure and other brands, listen from an iPad backstage, and stay on top of what’s happening across your system. GLOBAL INSTANT REPLAY Missed the moment? Go back and listen. Replay up to 30 minutes of monitored audio across your system to investigate intermittent issues and hear exactly what happened to remove guesswork during troubleshooting. MONITOR THE WHOLE PRODUCTION Bring up to 192 channels into one monitoring environment. Listen to channels in real time, monitor key system information, and maintain visibility across the sources your team is responsible for. DETECT MIC ISSUES FASTER WAVETOOL continuously analyzes audio to help identify potential microphone issues, including transient noise, connector faults, and more, while distinguishing them from intentional loud moments in the show. STAY MOBILE WITH iPAD Stay close to the action without giving up visibility into your production. WAVETOOL on iPad lets you monitor and listen from backstage, around the venue, or wherever you need to be. WORK FROM THE SAME SHARED REFERENCE Connect up to eight concurrent clients so the whole audio team can monitor the same production while working from independent views. Enhanced communication tools, including images, voice notes, and reactions, make it easier to share information. ONE MONITORING SOLUTION FOR YOUR AUDIO TEAM From live sound and broadcast to theater, houses of worship, corporate events, and other professional productions, WAVETOOL gives audio teams the visibility, listening, and collaboration tools to respond with confidence. See every channel. Replay the full system. Stay in control.

About

HotMix Listen

Features

HotMix turns an iPhone or iPad into a personal monitor mixer for production sound β€” no belt pack required. It connects to the HotMix Server on your Mac and streams up to 32 live channels over local Wi-Fi. Everyone on the crew mixes their own blend on their own device, so the producer's mix and the boom op's mix can look nothing alike. WHAT YOU CAN DO β€’ Tap a tile to drop a channel into your mix. Long-press for a fader. Taps respond right away β€” every channel is already streaming, so nothing waits on the network. β€’ Read live captions of what each mic is saying, transcribed on the server. Because each channel is one mic, the speaker labels are exact β€” no guessing who said what. β€’ Save a mix as a Scene and bring it back with one tap. Handy when you jump between an interview setup and a wide. β€’ Star the channels you care about to pin them to the top, and sort the grid the way you work. β€’ On iPad, Auto tile size goes compact for big casts, so 32 channels still fit on one screen. β€’ On iPhone, captions keep running on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while the app is in the background. You decide whether a locked screen shows full dialogue or just the speaker's name. β€’ A jitter buffer, adjustable from 40 to 200 ms, rides out Wi-Fi hiccups, and the app reconnects on its own if the signal drops. There's no login, no account, and nothing leaves your network. HotMix finds the server automatically once you're on the same Wi-Fi. HotMix needs the HotMix Server companion app for macOS and a local Wi-Fi network. Use wired headphones or in-ear monitors for the lowest latency β€” Bluetooth adds too much delay for monitoring.
