FUTO Notes vs Allston Labs

FUTO Notes is a simple notes app that helps you stay on top of your life. Based on a folder full of markdown, your notes belong to *you*, not some private cloud that you can't control.

Allston Labs turns every meeting into clean, organized knowledge — automatically. Record any in-person conversation and Allston Labs transcribes it on-device, then generates structured AI notes: key discussion points, action items, and a concise summary. No more scrambling to take notes while you're trying to listen. WHY ALLSTON LABS • Record in a tap — start and stop with one button, even with the screen locked. • On-device transcription — your audio is processed privately on your iPhone. • AI notes & summaries — every meeting becomes a clean, skimmable recap. • Accounts & people — conversations are automatically organized into the companies and contacts they involve, each with an AI brief. • Works with your calendar — see upcoming meetings and auto-link attendees. • Syncs with desktop — recordings from the Allston Labs desktop app show up here too. BUILT FOR PEOPLE IN BACK-TO-BACK MEETINGS Sales, founders, consultants, and anyone who lives in conversations. Capture what was said, who said it, and what to do next — without lifting a finger.
