Stride

Stride helps you build healthier digital habits by linking your daily step goal to app access. Using step data from Apple Health and Apple’s Screen Time technology, Stride restricts selected apps until you complete your movement goal for the day. Instead of relying on willpower alone, Stride creates a simple structure: move first, then unlock your apps. How It Works • Set your daily step goal • Choose the apps you want to limit • Complete your steps • Selected apps become available once your goal is reached Stride uses Apple’s Screen Time APIs to apply app restrictions and Apple Health step data to track progress toward your goal. Features • App restriction based on step completion • Customizable daily step targets • Integration with Apple Health • Secure Screen Time management • Simple and focused design Stride does not collect or sell your health data. Step data is used solely to determine when your selected apps can become available. Permissions Required • Access to step data via Apple Health • Screen Time authorization to manage selected apps Stride requires these permissions to function properly. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. RHRSpark puts your resting heart rate on your Apple Watch face as a sparkline, a gauge, or a corner complication. WHAT YOU GET • Three free 24-hour complications: a sparkline, a gauge, and a corner • Seven Pro complications across 8-hour, 7-day, and 30-day windows • Recent sedentary heart rate and Apple's daily resting heart rate, each labeled • Calculation notes for every complication in the iPhone gallery TWO SOURCES, SHOWN CLEARLY The 8-hour and 24-hour views use heart-rate samples that HealthKit labels as sedentary. The 7-day and 30-day views use Apple's daily resting heart rate. When there is no recent sedentary sample, the big number shows Apple's latest resting heart rate and says so. Longer gaps stay visible instead of being filled in. BUILT FOR THE WATCH FACE Choose rectangular, circular, or corner complications. A short HR or RHR label tells you which source you are seeing and leaves the sparkline the room. The Apple Watch app works without the iPhone app and keeps a record of your daily values. The iPhone app adds older days whenever you open it. ONE-TIME PRO UNLOCK Download free and use the three 24-hour complications. Unlock all ten with a single one-time purchase. No subscription, account, ads, or telemetry. PAIR IT WITH HRVSPARK HRVSpark gives the same direct view of raw SDNN heart rate variability across useful time windows. HealthKit data stays on your devices and moves only between your iPhone and Apple Watch through Apple frameworks. RHRSpark may request a small configuration file from filamentlabs.io to show current product messages. That request contains no health data. RHRSpark is for informational purposes only. It does not provide medical advice or diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: RHRSpark at weekly against Stride's fortnightly. RHRSpark also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
