A game about digging out what comes after 3.1415... Tap to earn compute (OPS), research algorithms to automate it, and spend your OPS to decode the digits of pi (π) one at a time. Decoded digits pile up on screen, and each one makes your computation a little faster. ■ Research real algorithms Gregory–Leibniz series (1671), Machin's formula (1706), Monte Carlo (1949), FFT multiplication (1971), Chudnovsky series (1988) and more — researching real algorithms speeds up your computation. Each one comes with a short explanation, its formula, and references. ■ Pi digit tape Read back the digits you decoded as a full-screen table. ■ Recomputation Hit a wall, commission a new machine, and start over from 3.14. You keep a permanent bonus based on your deepest verified digit, so each run goes faster and deeper than the last. ■ Milestones from history Archimedes's polygons, Shanks's hand computation, ENIAC's 2,037 digits — each depth you reach decodes another piece of history. ■ Idle-friendly Computation continues while the app is closed. ・CRT terminal pixel UI (font: DotGothic16) ・28 Game Center achievements, 3 leaderboards ・English / Japanese ・No ads, no in-app purchases, no data collection
