StartWise vs Mote

Not another to-do list. Most productivity apps expect you to plan better, try harder, or stay motivated. StartWise is different. It’s an AI execution assistant designed to help you avoid failure, reduce decision fatigue, and keep going — even when your energy is low. Your data is private and secure No public profiles, no social pressure No ads, no tracking across apps AI works quietly in the background

Mote is a quiet task app for catching fleeting thoughts — and letting them become action when you have the time. Thoughts arrive like motes of dust in morning light: a small idea, a thing to do, gone in a second if you don't catch it. Mote catches them, and keeps your days clear and unhurried. — Open to today — Mote opens to this week, with today already in view. The past steps aside; empty days stay empty. What you need to do is simply, neatly, under each day. — Catch it in a tap — One tap to note a thought. Tag it if you like, give it a day if you know one. Don't know yet? Leave it in "Unscheduled" — pull it into a day whenever you're ready. — Browse by gesture — Swipe to move through your weeks. Pinch to zoom between week, month, and year. Swipe a task left to finish or delete, right to reschedule. The interface gets out of the way. — Made to feel light — Warm, paper-like tones. Generous whitespace. A single accent of color. Finishing something gives a small, satisfying spark — never a nag. Mote keeps everything on your device. No account, no clutter, no pressure. Catch the thought.
