OneNext vs Just One

Not a to-do app. A starter. OneNext is built for getting started, not managing endless lists. When your to-do list grows, choosing what to do first can freeze you. OneNext removes the noise and guides you to one small next step. What OneNext does • One Next Step: Only one item on screen—no overwhelming lists. • Done / Later: Two choices to reduce friction. • AI “first step” breakdown: Turns vague tasks into a clear 5-minute action. Internet connection required for AI breakdown. • Make it smaller: Break it down again when it feels hard. • Keep your wins: Track what you did, not what you didn’t. Just one next step. Start small. Keep moving.

Most people fail not because they lack motivation, but because they try to do too much at once. Just One is built on a single principle: identify the one thing that would make today successful, then do it. No task lists. No projects. No overwhelm. Just one intention per day. HOW IT WORKS Every morning, you write your One Thing. One sentence. One goal. That is all. When you are ready, you start a Focus session. A clean, distraction-free timer counts down while you work. No notifications. No interruptions. Just you and your task. At the end of the day, you answer one question: did you complete it? Your streak grows with every yes. FOCUS TIMER Built-in Pomodoro-style timer from 1 to 90 minutes. Fully adjustable before each session. Vibration and local notification when your session ends, even if the app is in the background. STREAKS AND HISTORY Watch your consistency grow day by day. Your history shows every entry at a glance, with a simple record of what you set out to do and whether you did it. Every entry is yours, backed up securely to the cloud. DESIGNED TO DISAPPEAR Just One is intentionally minimal. No cluttered dashboards. No gamification traps. No badges demanding your attention. The app gets out of your way so you can do the work. Dark mode, light mode, and system-adaptive appearance. Clean typography. Generous whitespace. It feels as calm as the habit it builds. CLOUD SYNC Sign in with Apple in one tap. Your tasks and history sync automatically across all your devices. Delete and reinstall without losing a single day.
