Truffle Journal vs WhisperAct

Chat history keeps conversations. Truffle Journal keeps what mattered. Save the useful part of a ChatGPT conversation as an editable journal entry, then organize it, refine it, and find it again when you need it. You can also write directly in the app. SAVE WHAT IS WORTH KEEPING • Save and update entries through a connected ChatGPT workflow • Write and edit with Markdown, headings, tables, and checklists • Add your own comments and context • Organize entries with tags, pinned tags, starred entries, and archive • Find entries using text and semantic search • Add local reminders when an idea should return later • Sync your journal across your signed-in devices • Export or share entries when you choose PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your entries belong to your Truffle Journal account and are not published to other users. Truffle Journal does not sell your journal content or use it for targeted advertising. FREE AND PLUS The Free plan includes up to 10 retained saved entries, including archived entries. Truffle Plus removes the entry limit. Monthly and Annual subscriptions provide the same unlimited-entry access for different billing periods. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple subscription settings. Ending Plus never deletes your existing journal entries. Say it once. WhisperAct turns what you say into todos, reminders and calendar events, and puts them in Apple Reminders and Apple Calendar, where you already look. "Dentist Tuesday at 10, remind me to email the landlord Friday, pick up milk" becomes three items, each with the right date. No retyping. SPEAK ONCE, STAY ORGANIZED Talk naturally. WhisperAct works out what you meant and files each item in the right place. It understands phrases like "next Friday", "after lunch", "in two hours" and "end of the month", and you can tell it what "morning" and "evening" mean in your day. Check everything before it saves, or let clear items save on their own. Prefer typing? That works too. WORKS WITH APPLE REMINDERS AND CALENDAR Real entries in Apple's own apps, not a silo you'll forget. Notes and changes you make in Calendar come back into WhisperAct. Overlapping events are flagged, and WhisperAct can find your next free slot. Overdue reminders stay quiet instead of ringing at odd moments, and alerts you set yourself are left alone. CAPTURE FROM ANYWHERE Start recording with Siri, the Action Button, Control Center, a Lock Screen widget or Spotlight. YOUR PLAN AT A GLANCE The Plan tab shows today, what's coming up, and everything still waiting for a date. Widgets show what's next on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, and you can tick off a todo right from the widget. REMINDERS THAT KNOW WHERE YOU ARE (PRO) "Remind me when I get to the office." The alert comes on arrival or departure, delivered by Apple Reminders. Your location is used only while you choose the place. REPEATING ITEMS Daily, weekly, monthly or your own pattern. Skip one time without breaking the schedule. A CALM DAILY RHYTHM Daily Review is a quiet morning check, one item at a time: mark it done, reschedule it, or hide it for today. An optional evening wrap-up catches what's left, and the Daily Digest tells you what's actually scheduled. No streaks, no guilt, and silence on empty days. HOW YOUR DATA IS HANDLED No account needed.
