RunRoutes
Read full descriptionHide full description
Your run starts on the map. Open RunRoutes and you are looking at a route from your own front door. Pick a distance, tap once, and a loop appears: out and back home, no planning, no retracing your steps. Run it from your wrist or your phone. Tap Start and your Apple Watch takes over: turn alerts, pace and a tap on the wrist when it matters, while your phone mirrors the run live on a full-screen map. No watch? Your phone guides you on its own. ROUTES FROM ANY DOOR Pick 5K, 10K or any distance you like, and RunRoutes draws a loop that starts and ends where you stand. Save the loops you love, run them again, or draw your own by tapping waypoints on the map. GUIDED WHILE YOU RUN The map fills the screen edge to edge with six numbers over it: time, distance, pace, heart rate, calories and the length of your loop. Turn alerts arrive before the corner, on your wrist and on your lock screen. INTERVALS THAT RIDE ALONG Run and walk intervals on any route, or without one. Build your own workouts, or follow the built-in Couch to 5K program: from your first minute of running to 28 minutes nonstop, in 9 weeks. EVERY RUN COUNTS Progress opens on your week: which days you ran, what the week adds up to, and how many weeks you hit your goal. Runs recorded with other apps count too, so your story is complete from day one. TAKE THE ROUTE WITH YOU Share any route as a GPX file to your watch or the running app you already use, and post the run card to your story. RUNROUTES PRO Go Pro for unlimited routes, all custom workouts and the full 5K program: subscribe yearly or monthly, both with 7 days free, or pay once for lifetime access. Your first route is free. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Existing purchases remain valid. MAKE YOUR MILES WITH RUNLOOP Plan your next route, track a run, and build your running routine. BUILD YOUR ROUTE Choose your distance, a loop or out-and-back, and a starting point at your location or nearby. Choose Balanced, Quiet Roads, Trail & Adventure, or Fast & Smooth, then compare mapped route options, distance, elevation, and disclosed compromises. START RUNNING Start a Quick Run without planning a route. Track time, distance and pace, pause or resume your session, and review completed runs in Activity. Location recording can continue during an active run with the screen locked when permission is enabled. MAKE IT YOURS Choose a workout, set your running preferences, save routes, manage voice guidance, and optionally connect Apple Health. FIND YOUR COMMUNITY Sign in to discover shared routes, follow runners, and participate in RunLoop Community features. Account and Community participation are optional for core route planning and run tracking. A FRESH RUNNING EXPERIENCE A bold new Home screen, clearer controls, readable run metrics, and route-generation progress keep the focus on your run. Routes depend on mapped roads and paths, provider availability, GPS accuracy, internet connectivity, and local conditions. Generated distances may differ from your target; review route details and compromises before starting. Always check traffic, access restrictions, closures, terrain, and weather. RunLoop does not guarantee that a route is safe, accessible, or suitable for you.
