About

Librai

Features

Finally finish the books you keep meaning to read, and scroll a little less. We all have a someday pile: the classic that's hard going in English, the PDF a friend sent you, the book you started and never finished. Librai helps you actually finish them. Read any book in your language, listen to it with every word lit up, and ask an AI that reads along with you. NEW: READ FIRST Open a feed app you reach for too often and a few lines of your book come first. Choose the apps, how many words to read each time, and how long the app stays free afterwards. The book keeps up: next time it starts right after what you read, and so does the reader. The app opens with a press and hold, so a stray tap never skips your reading. Set it up once in the Shortcuts app; Read First is free. READ IT IN YOUR LANGUAGE Open any EPUB or PDF and Librai turns the page you're on into Spanish, Hindi, Chinese, Arabic, French, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Korean or one of 24 languages in all, including Hinglish. It's the real page, sentence by sentence, not a summary. Tap the language chip to see the original whenever you like. Five translated pages a day are free. LISTEN TO ANY BOOK Turn any book into an audiobook with Apple's natural voices, right on your iPhone. Every word lights up as it's read, the page turns by itself, and it keeps playing from the mini player when you close the book or lock your phone. Set the speed or a sleep timer. Listening is free with no limits. ASK IT ANYTHING. IT DOES THE WORK. Select a passage and tap Ask, or open Ask Librai from the menu. The AI searches the whole book, explains a passage, turns to the page where something happened, and can highlight the key lines or save a note for you. Every change it makes comes with Undo. It only uses what you've already read, so it never spoils the ending. BUILT TO HELP YOU FINISH • Story so far: come back after a few days and get a quick, spoiler-free recap of what you've read • Reading plans: "Finish this in 2 weeks" gives you a small daily page goal and an evening reminder • Book brief: finish a book and get one page of its key ideas and your own highlights, ready to share A LINE FROM YOUR SHELF, EVERY DAY Your Reading shows today's goal, your streak and your month in books. Each day it picks a line from the books you own, with why it was chosen. Share it as a story or post card in the colors you like, or get it as a daily notification. A CHAT THAT RUNS YOUR READING Ask Librai what to read next or how your week went, and it acts: adds books in one tap, reads one to you with a sleep timer, catches you up, makes a Book brief, plans your month, and builds or tidies your collections. It can change your goal, reminders and Read First, and quiz you on your highlights and words. Every change has Undo. YOUR LIBRARY, ON YOUR DEVICE • Import EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW, AZW3, FB2 and CBZ from Files, email or Safari • Scan a bookshelf with your camera to add the books you see • Highlights and notes, collections, reading stats and streaks • Fonts, sizes, spacing, page themes and Bionic Reading • Made for iPhone Duo and iPad: two facing pages, and your library beside the book • Optional iCloud sync between your iPhone and iPad FREE AND PRO Free: up to 3 books, unlimited reading and listening, 5 translated pages and 5 AI messages a day, Story so far, and your first Book brief and reading plan. Pro: unlimited books, up to 500 translated pages and 250 AI messages a day, more web lookups and shelf scans, and a Book brief and reading plan for every book. Yearly includes a free trial. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
