About

Chess Clock

Features

A chess clock for the board in front of you. Play at your pace, keep both timers easy to read, and give a newer player extra thinking time. Try the short hands-on demo, then unlock the full clock with one purchase. No ads or subscription. Full games require the unlock. STAY FOCUSED ON THE BOARD Large opposing timers let each player read their own clock. Make your move, then tap your active clock to switch turns. Optional low-time alerts help you notice the final seconds. FIND YOUR PACE Choose a 1, 3, 5 or 10-minute preset, or save your own time control. Add Fischer increment or simple delay for the way you like to play. Your favorite presets are ready for the next game. GIVE BEGINNERS MORE TIME Set a different starting time for each player. Give someone learning the game more room to think without slowing both clocks. PAUSE WITHOUT LOSING YOUR PLACE Take a break, adjust either clock, or undo the latest accidental switch. Leaving the app pauses the game. To continue, press Resume, then tap the active clock when both players are ready. READY FOR YOUR NEXT GAME Your presets and unfinished game stay on your iPhone. After the one-time unlock, the clock works offline. An internet connection is needed to purchase or restore access. This is a timer for two people playing on a physical board. It does not include a chess opponent, lessons, move tracking or tournament certification.
