readlock vs FocusGuard

Break the doomscrolling cycle with readlock, the app that locks your most distracting apps until you complete your daily reading. Choose which apps to block - social media, games, streaming - and readlock keeps them locked until you've read. Once you finish your daily reading, your apps unlock automatically for the rest of the day. How it works: • Select the apps you want to block • Set a daily lock time - your apps lock again each day at that time • Complete your daily reading to unlock them • Build a reading streak and track your progress over time Features: • Curated library of 70+ book insights across topics like productivity, finance, science, and more • Track your reading streak, total reads, and time spent reading • Add books to your personal library to prioritize what you read next • Set a daily reminder to read before your apps lock readlock turns screen time into reading time - one day at a time. Take back your time. FocusGuard is the first AI-powered screen time coach that doesn't just block apps -- it helps you understand WHY you pick up your phone and builds lasting habits to reduce mindless scrolling. THE PROBLEM You unlock your phone 80+ times a day. You lose 4-6 hours to apps designed to keep you hooked. You feel drained, anxious, and unproductive. Sound familiar? Traditional screen time apps block and restrict, but they don't fix the root cause. THE SOLUTION FocusGuard combines AI coaching with behavioral science to create a personalized digital wellbeing plan that actually works. HOW IT WORKS 1. SMART ANALYSIS FocusGuard learns your usage patterns -- when you scroll, which apps trap you, and what triggers your phone pickups. Our AI identifies your unique habits, not generic averages. 2. AI COACHING Get personalized insights like "You check Instagram 12 times between 2-4pm -- that's your afternoon slump. Try a 5-minute walk instead." Real advice, not just numbers. 3. PROGRESSIVE REDUCTION No cold turkey. FocusGuard gradually reduces your screen time week by week, like a fitness plan for your attention. Week 1: awareness. Week 4: you're spending 2 hours less on your phone. 4. MOOD + SCREEN TIME TRACKING See the connection between your phone use and how you feel. FocusGuard tracks your mood alongside screen time so you can see exactly how doomscrolling affects your wellbeing. 5.
