Sonographer Pal is a digital learning platform designed to support sonography students, practicing sonographers, and ultrasound educators as they prepare for ultrasound credentialing exams and strengthen their clinical knowledge in diagnostic medical sonography. The platform provides structured learning resources covering major areas of diagnostic medical sonography, including: • Ultrasound physics and SPI exam preparation • Abdominal sonography • OB/GYN ultrasound • Vascular ultrasound These subject areas align with topics commonly tested on credentialing examinations offered by ARDMS®, ARRT®, and CCI®. The initiative began in 2021 as an educational social media page created by registered sonographer and educator Joey Luna. Originally built to share practical sonography knowledge with the ultrasound community, the project quickly grew as students, practicing sonographers, and educators began using the content to review important concepts and prepare for credentialing exams. Drawing on years of experience in sonography education and clinical practice, Sonographer Pal evolved into a structured digital learning platform designed to support exam preparation and ongoing professional development. Today, the platform includes a growing library of digital learning resources designed to help users review core ultrasound concepts and prepare for credentialing exams, including those offered by ARDMS®, ARRT®, and CCI®. Many learners use Sonographer Pal as part of their SPI exam prep while studying ultrasound physics and other foundational principles of diagnostic medical sonography. Educational resources within the platform include: • Ultrasound study guides • Board-style practice questions • Interactive flashcards • Audio learning resources for on-the-go study These tools help learners reinforce foundational knowledge, review important ultrasound concepts, and strengthen exam readiness. The Sonographer Pal team includes ARDMS®, ARRT®, and CCI®-registered sonographers along with board-certified physicians who contribute clinical and educational expertise to the platform’s peer-reviewed learning materials. Today, Sonographer Pal is used by sonography students, practicing sonographers, and ultrasound educators across multiple countries as a resource for structured learning, exam preparation, and professional development within the medical imaging community. About

SonoCue

SonoCue is a clinical reference tool built for the scan room — for credentialed diagnostic medical sonographers (RDMS or equivalent) and ultrasound students. Not for patient use, not medical advice, not a diagnostic device. Created by Tricia Henderson, RDMS — a travel sonographer with nearly 30 years of clinical experience. Every finding in the database was authored and reviewed by her. WHAT'S INSIDE DIFFERENTIAL FINDER Searchable database of ultrasound findings across Obstetric, Gynecologic, Abdominal, Vascular, Neonatal, and Superficial Structures. Each entry includes: • Threshold or measurement • Common associations • Next scan steps • Clinical pearls • Severity classification (normal variant, watch, abnormal, critical) • Last-reviewed date REFERENCE TOOLS Society-cited formulas you reach for daily, in one offline-first app: • Gestational age tables (Hadlock 1984) • Estimated fetal weight calculator (Hadlock 4-parameter, 1991) • Biophysical profile (BPP) scorer (Manning, 1980) • Umbilical artery Doppler norms (Acharya, 2005) • Cervical length stratification • Amniotic fluid index (Phelan / Magann) Every calculator shows its formula source on screen. AI ANALYZE Describe what you see — get structured differential considerations to evaluate. Not a diagnosis, not a substitute for clinical judgment. Constrained by safety guardrails: refuses dosing requests, refuses non-sonography modalities, refuses anything framed as a definitive diagnosis. Capped at 5 uses per account per day. Every response is labeled AI-generated, shows its reasoning, and can be flagged for review. WHO IT'S FOR SonoCue is exclusively for trained ultrasound professionals — credentialed sonographers, ultrasound students, sonography educators, and physician sonographers. It is not designed for, and may not be used by, patients or untrained individuals. PRIVACY SonoCue is designed to actively prevent Protected Health Information (PHI) from being processed. Input text is sanitized for PHI patterns on your device and again on our server before any AI provider receives it. We do not store input text or AI responses tied to your account. We are not a HIPAA-covered service — see in-app Privacy Policy for details. OFFLINE-FIRST Differential Finder, Reference Tools, and Bookmarks all work offline. Once installed, you don't need a connection for the things you reach for during a scan. ABOUT THE BUILDER SonoCue is an independent app created by Pixel & Pulse Travelers. It is not affiliated with any imaging vendor, hospital system, or society. Questions or feedback: sonocue@pixelandpulsetravelers.com
