Anchor vs Lockodoro Deep Focus Timer

Anchor blocks your distracting apps during focus sessions. Not a reminder. Not a nudge. Actually blocked. Most focus apps send a notification hoping you'll resist the urge to scroll. That doesn't work — especially when your brain craves dopamine. Anchor uses Apple's Screen Time API to lock apps at the system level. Try to open Instagram during a session? It won't open. No willpower required. FOCUS MODES Pomodoro: 25 min work, 5 min break with auto-cycling Deep Work: 45-90 min uninterrupted focus Creative Flow: Flexible timing for creative tasks Custom: Set your own duration and breaks REAL APP BLOCKING Select which apps to block during sessions System-level blocking via Apple Family Controls Animated shield screen when you try to open blocked apps No "Ignore Limit" button — apps are genuinely locked DYNAMIC ISLAND & LOCK SCREEN Animated progress ring on your Dynamic Island Timer visible on your lock screen without unlocking Home screen widgets for quick session starts Siri Shortcuts: "Hey Siri, start a focus session" AMBIENT SOUNDSCAPES Rain, ocean, forest, cafe, fireplace, white noise, or silence Mix with your own music or listen standalone TRACK YOUR PROGRESS Focus Score (0-100) based on consistency and completion Weekly and monthly reports with focus charts Heat map calendar showing your focus history Session reflections with mood tracking Streaks with Streak Shield protection (skip one day without breaking) ACHIEVEMENTS Unlock badges as you build your focus habit Track milestones and celebrate progress Apple Health sync writes Mindful Minutes automatically TASKS & PROJECTS Built-in task management for focus sessions Organize tasks into projects Track what you accomplished each session BUILT FOR PRIVACY No ads. Lockodoro is a calm Pomodoro timer for studying, deep work, and everyday tasks, with focus coins that make your progress visible. FOCUS ON ONE THING Choose a focus tag, set your timer, and give one task your attention. Use Lockodoro as a study timer for exam preparation, a work timer for writing and coding, or a simple way to bring the Pomodoro technique into your day. Set focus sessions from 5 to 180 minutes and alternate focused work with short and long breaks. Start small, find your rhythm, and make time for rest. TURN FOCUS INTO LOCKCOINS Every completed focus session earns a bronze, silver, or gold Lockcoin based on how long you focused. Complete a full Pomodoro cycle to earn an extra gold coin. Watch your effort add up in a pile you can see and move. Tilt your iPhone to watch the coins tumble with realistic physics and haptic feedback. Your on-screen pile starts fresh with your first completed focus session each week. KEEP YOUR TIMER CLOSE Follow your session on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with Live Activities on supported devices. Session-end notifications help you put your phone down without losing track of time. MAKE IT YOUR OWN • Choose your focus duration • Pick short breaks of 5 or 10 minutes • Pick long breaks of 15, 20, or 30 minutes • Use built-in tags for Work, Study, Reading, Exercise, and Planning • Adjust sound and vibration reminders • Keep the screen awake while the timer runs PROTECT YOUR FOCUS WITH LOCKODORO PRO Optional in-app purchase required. Use the app blocker to reduce distractions during focus sessions. With Screen Time permission, choose apps, categories, and websites to restrict. Blocking follows your active focus session and lifts when the session ends, so you can take your break without switching it off manually. UNDERSTAND YOUR FOCUS WITH PRO Turn your session history into a practical focus tracker: • Browse your personal focus history and previous weeks • See session time ranges, actual focus time, and daily totals • Review completed sessions and sessions stopped after at least 5 minutes • Add missed sessions manually, edit entries, or delete them PRO also lets you customize short and long break durations, choose how many focus sessions come before a long break, and create unlimited custom focus tags. Give each custom tag its own color and preferred session duration. BUILT FOR STUDY AND DEEP WORK From reading and revision to planning and creative work, Lockodoro gives your time management a simple structure: one task, a clear finish line, and a moment to recharge.
