Vorlor vs Kaleidron

Shapes that can change with a stroke of the pencil or a swipe of the fingers, colors that flow in shimmering cascades as you trace them. Let yourself be hypnotized and surprised by their joyful dance, and above all, create incredible works based on symmetry and your imagination!

A kaleidoscope you build by hand. Drop a shape into one wedge of the mirrored barrel and it repeats into a rosette — six times, or twelve, or three. Move it and the whole pattern moves with it. That is the whole idea, and it turns out to be surprisingly hard to put down. BUILD IT YOURSELF • Thirteen shapes, from flat polygons to tumbling 3D solids • Glossy, matte and metallic materials • Twenty-two colours, plus a wireframe option that draws edges only • One to twelve mirrors — change it and the composition stays, the symmetry doesn't • Nine barrel backgrounds, dark through to light • Tap to place, drag to move, hold to delete. Undo and redo throughout. TODAY'S KALEIDRON A new composition every day, generated from the date — the same one for everyone, everywhere. Open it, keep it, or paint over it. Tomorrow brings another. A PHOTOGRAPH, FOLDED Point the barrel at a picture and it becomes the source material. Frame it against a live preview: the same photo gives a completely different rosette depending which part of it reaches the wedge. Your shapes sit on top of it. ZEN Full screen, no controls, nothing but the pattern turning. Five looping ambiences, or silence. KEEP AND SHARE Save compositions to a gallery and come back to them.
