Rabbit Hole

Five minutes on your phone, and you put it down knowing something new. Rabbit Hole swaps the endless scroll for a calm feed of things actually worth your attention: a castle nobody visits, a cave that swallowed a river, a painting with a strange past, tonight's galaxy. No likes, no comments, no notifications, no account, no ads. Just one good story per screen, and a feed that stays partly random on purpose, so it never traps you. Swipe up for the next card. Tap to read the whole story. Swipe right to save it, left to see less like it. Pinch to look closer. Press Deeper to follow the thread into related stories, as far down the rabbit hole as you like. WHAT YOU GET ⢠A mix of your interests (60%) and pure random (40%). 30 interests: abandoned places, space, castles, caves, architecture, birds, transport, clocks and watches, gems, actors and musicians, books, films, albums, video games, today in the world, on this day and more. ⢠Deeper: from any card, dive into related ones ā the same artist, author, animal family or category, plus Wikipedia's "more like this". Levels stack; come back up whenever you like. ⢠Taste: swipe left and the feed shows less of that topic; save and it shows more. The taste model lives on your phone, is visible in Settings and resets with one tap. ⢠Share: turn any card into a clean image for a chat or a story, in portrait or story format, light or dark, with the source credited. ⢠Places nearby: Wikipedia articles about spots within 200 km of you, with a button to open them in Maps. ⢠Eight languages: the interface and Wikipedia in English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Italian, Czech and Polish. Mix reading languages any way you like. ⢠Saved cards, exported as a Markdown file that drops straight into Obsidian or any notes app. ⢠Works with a flaky connection: images are prefetched, and the feed quietly retries when the network drops. PRIVACY No tracking, no account, no ads. Only anonymous usage counts, which you can turn off. Saved cards and the taste model never leave your phone. Location is used only if you turn on "Places nearby", and only to search Wikipedia around you.
