A simple, beautiful breastfeeding timer. No diaper logs, no tummy time tracking, no app that does 47 things and none of them well. One tap, start feeding, and done! I made MilkMode because I wanted something I could open with one hand and just tap “go.” Something that would remember which side I started with last time. Something that felt encouraging instead of making me feel like I was falling behind on data entry. So I built it and I think you’ll love it too. Features: One-tap breastfeeding timer with left/right breast tracking Beautiful, shareable stats so you can show your partner, your mom, or your group chat how much you've been working Sleep Mode so feed reminders turn off at night when baby sleeps longer (because you deserve that sleep too) Dark mode Live Activities so you can see your timer right on your lock screen Ability to edit previous feeds and add new ones No ads MilkMode is free to try for 7 days, then it’s a one-time purchase. No subscription. All your data stays on your device. Nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to share it. If you or someone you know is breastfeeding, give MilkMode a try. I hope it makes the beautiful breastfeeding journey a little easier.
FeedKit

Log a feed in one tap. FeedKit is a feeding tracker built for the blur of the first year — so the thing you do eight times a day takes a second, and everything else stays out of the way. THE ONE-TAP LOOP • Tap Feed, pick a type, done. There is no form to fill in. • Time a breastfeed live, or enter one after the fact. • Started the timer late? Correct the start time instead of typing the feed again. • Bottles in ml or oz, breast milk or formula; solids by amount. • Switch sides with one tap — FeedKit suggests which side is next. • Once a rhythm shows, the home screen says when the next feed is due. • A reminder a set time after each feed, quiet at night unless you ask. EVERYTHING YOU LOGGED, KEPT • Every feed in one list. Fix one, or delete it with a swipe. • Export every feed as a spreadsheet — free, because it is your data. • More than one baby, switched from any screen. • Feeding tips for your baby's age. GROWTH • Weight, length and head circumference from each check-up, with a chart by age. • In the first weeks, see when your baby is back to birth weight. PUMPING AND THE MILK STASH • Time a pumping session beside a feed, from the Feed screen, the Lock Screen or your watch. • Note left and right, and see today's total. • A fridge and freezer stash with use-by dates; a bottle of breast milk takes from it. SEE THE PATTERN • Daily totals, averages and a chart of every day. • Which feed types, when the peaks fall, the typical interval and the longest stretch. ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN A running feed counts up on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Switch sides or stop it there, without unlocking. HANDS FULL Ask Siri to start a feed, switch sides, log a bottle or tell you when the last feed was. Or put Start a Feed on the Action Button. PREMIUM The essentials are free, always. Premium adds: • Family Sharing — both parents on their own phones, always in sync, even while a feed is running. A partner, grandparent or nanny joins free. • Apple Watch — start, switch and stop a feed or a pumping session from your wrist. • Smart reminders — they learn your baby's rhythm and remind you just before the next feed. • Feeding rhythm — the next feeds, how sure each estimate is, and the longest stretch last night. • Growth percentiles — your baby on the WHO curves, at corrected age if born early. • Pumping insights — milk per day and per session, the left–right balance, and a reminder to pump. • Report for your doctor — the last two weeks, day by day, as a PDF. Your first one is free. • AI analysis prompt — your baby's feeding, ready to paste into the AI assistant you use. • Themes — night-friendly designs for 3 a.m.; Night Friendly can switch on by itself. Try Premium free: 1 week on monthly plans, 2 weeks on the longer ones. 20 LANGUAGES English, Arabic, Chinese (Traditional), Czech, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. YOUR DATA IS YOURS Feeds live on your device, and — if you turn on Family Sharing — in your own private iCloud. Never on our servers. Fed is best, and you are doing beautifully. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly, every six months or yearly, for one Apple Account or for your Apple family. New subscribers start with a free trial (1 week monthly, 2 weeks otherwise); it becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless cancelled at least 24 hours before. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: FeedKit at every 5 days against MilkMode's fortnightly. FeedKit also leads on device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
