Pic2Bricks

Take a photo of your dog, a favorite mug or the house you grew up in, and Pic2Bricks designs a brick model of it that you can actually build with standard building bricks. Pick a size, from a pocket-size Mini of about 75 pieces up to a 500-piece Mega showpiece, and choose classic bricks or a finer version with plates and tiles. A minute or two later you can spin the finished 3D model and look at it from every side. If it isn't right, ask for changes or start over; a build is only used when you keep a design. Every design you keep comes with a full parts list (sizes, colors and part numbers), step-by-step instructions you can follow or print, and an estimated cost for the bricks. Adding a side or back photo helps with shape and proportions. Prefer something flat? Turn any photo into a 2D portrait made of round tiles, ready in seconds and made right on your phone. It works well for people, pets and paintings. Already have a pile of loose bricks? Photograph it with "What can I build?" and the app counts your pieces by color and size, suggests models, and designs one using only what you own. Switch that off for a bigger build, and the parts list shows just the extra pieces to add. When you need bricks, one tap copies your list and opens BrickLink, the large marketplace for single bricks. Your first 2 builds are free, and more come in packs of 5 or 15 whenever you want them. There is no subscription and no account. Designs are made by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, from the photo you choose; the photo is used only for your design and isn't kept. Pic2Bricks is an independent app from LastLap Lab LLC and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the LEGO Group.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Pic2Bricks at every 2 days against Brickly Scan's weekly. Brickly Scan's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
