Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Boxing AI at freemium against Boxer AI's subscription. Boxing AI also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17). Boxer AI's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 26) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boxing AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Boxer AI sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Boxing AI against 4.7 for Boxer AI. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boxer AI has 1.7K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Boxing AI ships an update weekly, Boxer AI every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on August 19, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
