Run with your own local tracks — analyzed on your device and matched to your cadence in real time — or start with the included ready-to-run playlist. Set the tempo you want to run to — or choose a faster target to train with — and the music follows. Whether you're going for a relaxed jog, a daily training run, or a structured workout, your music stays in sync with every step. Manual Tempo Set your target cadence — every song plays at that tempo. Choose the tempo that matches your natural running rhythm, or set a faster target and use the music to hold a consistent speed. Save your go-to tempos to the preset buttons for one-tap changes. Workout Mode Choose a workout and define your minimum and maximum cadence. The music adapts automatically to each phase so you can stay focused on your run. Workout types include Interval, Pyramid, Tempo Run, Progressive, and Fartlek. You choose how phase changes are communicated: voice announcements, rising and falling tones, or no audio cues at all. Run with Your Own Music Use your own tracks and run to the music you already love — matched to your selected running tempo. Your tracks are analyzed on your device, then adjusted in real time. Tempo changes without changing the pitch of the song. Only locally stored audio files are supported. Streaming, DRM, or cloud-only tracks are not supported. Ready-to-Run Playlists Start running instantly with a curated playlist included at no extra cost. Additional playlists are available as optional In-App Purchases. Heart Rate–Based Actions Optionally use heart-rate data from Apple Health during workouts. Configure what should happen when you reach Zone 4 and/or Zone 5 — for example, slow the music by 20 percent, or stop playback. Heart rate becomes an input into the music, not just another number on screen. Apple Watch App In Manual Mode, change tempo from your wrist with +/− or the Digital Crown. In Workout Mode, see the current phase and tempo without looking at your iPhone. Focus on your run. Let the music follow your run. IN-APP PURCHASES Beatrunner Pro is free to download and use. RunTune adjusts the playback speed of your local music to match a target BPM you choose for walking, running, and workouts. YOUR MUSIC, YOUR PACE • Import MP3 and M4A audio files from Files. • Analyze a song’s BPM or enter its original BPM manually. • Choose Walk, Power Walk, Run, or Power Run presets, or set a custom target BPM. • Pause, resume, seek, and return to the original playback speed. • Continue listening in the background and use supported Lock Screen playback controls. PLAYLISTS TO KEEP AND SHARE • Create playlists with your preferred song order and target BPM settings. • Add songs from the library or player and edit your playlists. • Share a playlist card and a RunTune playlist file. • Import playlists shared with you, check which songs are missing, and connect your own music. Shared playlist files contain song information and pace settings, not audio files. Open the accompanying .runtune attachment in RunTune to add a shared playlist. Participants listen independently; synchronized group playback is not included. No account is required. Audio playback and BPM analysis take place on your device.
