MobileDB is a native PostgreSQL client for iPhone and Apple Watch. Connect straight to any Postgres database — over TLS or an in-app SSH tunnel — and browse, query, chart and edit your data from anywhere. Ask questions in plain English and get answers. No backend, no account: credentials stay in the iOS Keychain and data travels only between your device and your servers. TRY IT INSTANTLY • Tap "Try the Demo" for a built-in sample database — no account, server or setup CONNECT YOUR WAY • Paste a connection URL from Supabase, Neon, Railway, Render, Heroku or AWS • Passwords and SSH keys secured in the Keychain • TLS (require, verify, self-signed) and built-in SSH tunneling with host-key pinning BROWSE • Schema → table → row navigation with search • Schema Map: every table and foreign key in an interactive diagram • Data grid with sorting, filters and foreign-key jumps • JSON/JSONB values as a collapsible tree ASK AI • Ask "how many users signed up this week?" and get the number, a table or a chart. Queries run read-only and time-limited; anything that changes data is never run automatically • "Hey Siri, ask MobileDB…" — spoken answers on your phone and watch, and in Shortcuts • Build dashboard widgets and new rows from a sentence • Free and private with Apple Intelligence — the on-device model runs on your phone • Or bring your own key for any OpenAI-compatible provider. Only your schema and question are sent — no row data unless you allow it QUERY & EDIT • SQL editor with syntax highlighting and autocomplete • Charts, history, saved queries, CSV/JSON export • Type-aware row editor: insert, update, duplicate and delete by primary key DASHBOARDS • "Build me a dashboard": MobileDB finds users, orders and revenue and proposes cards, each checked against your data • Guided cards (totals, trends, breakdowns) or custom SQL, with trends vs the previous period • Share any card or dashboard as a polished image WIDGETS, ALERTS & WATCH • Dashboard metrics on your Home Screen, Lock Screen and Apple Watch • Daily digest: yesterday's key numbers each morning • Alerts when a metric crosses a threshold or jumps or drops • Live Activities: pin a metric to the Lock Screen; long queries show in the Dynamic Island with a Stop button • Always read-only, and only for connections you allow WORK SAFELY IN PRODUCTION • Tag connections as Development, Staging or Production, with an always-on red banner • Read-only sessions, and a guard before UPDATE/DELETE without WHERE, TRUNCATE, DROP or ALTER • Privacy mode hides emails, phone numbers and names for screen-sharing • Users & permissions: roles, grants, who can write to each table, and RLS policies • Optional Face ID lock Find saved queries, dashboards and tables from Spotlight. MobileDB collects no analytics, shows no ads and has no servers of its own.
