Rivet 04

Rivet 04 - Comb is a resonant comb filter built for techno and industrial. Put it on drums, synths, or any bus to create metallic resonance, pipe tones, and reverb-like tails, from subtle shimmer to aggressive industrial texture. Comb works both as a standalone app and an AUv3 plugin. Comb combines feedback resonators with internal saturation for rich harmonic colour. Pitch the resonance to your key, add chord intervals for harmonic resonance, or push it into metallic destruction with the HOT mode. KEY FEATURES ⢠Resonant comb filter with pitchable tuning and chord modes ⢠DRIVE saturation inside the feedback loop ⢠LFO modulation for shimmer and movement RIVET SERIES / OPEN SOURCE ⢠Comb is part of my Rivet series of AUv3 effects plugins targeting techno and industrial genres. Comb uses algorithms by Chris Johnson (Airwindows), made available under MIT license. AUv3 Effect ⢠Works in AUv3 hosts such as AUM, Drambo, Logic, and Cubasis IN-APP PURCHASE Comb includes In-App Purchases for optional tipping. Tipping does not unlock any additional features as all features are already available.
Arc & Decay
Read full descriptionHide full description
Arc & Decay is a plasma arc distortion instrument for iOS, built on the physics of real xenon gas tube breakdown. Feed it any sound through the built-in microphone and it fires an electrical arc when your signal crosses the ionization threshold. The arc saturates and distorts with odd harmonics, crackles through marginal-zone sputter, and holds a long ionization tail that decays into electrical noise long after your sound stops. Six precision encoders control every dimension of the arc character: Voltage drives the current into the gap. Ignition sets the threshold. Instability introduces chaos and arc wander. Fizzle and Spark shape the crackle density and tail length. Mix blends dry signal with pure arc output. Reverb and delay extend the electrical space without losing the character. Record up to one minute of output and share directly from the app. Arc & Decay is not a guitar pedal. It is not a synthesizer. It is a plasma arc instrument that runs on whatever sound you give it. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Arc & Decay at none against Rivet 04's 3. Arc & Decay also leads on device support. On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
