Zen Mode No time limit. No game over. Just you and the hex grid. When tiles fill the board, it expands so you can keep playing. Turn off the score counter for pure flow, or leave it on to chase your personal best. Your progress auto-saves whenever you step away. Challenge Mode Water rises from below every few moves, swallowing tiles in its path. Merge tiles into 128 or higher to push the water back. Choose your pace with three difficulty levels: Gentle, Flow, and Torrent. How long can you stay ahead of the tide? FOCUS TIMER A built-in Pomodoro timer turns Numvana into a productivity companion. Set your work duration, break length, and number of cycles. During focus time, the game locks and a countdown keeps you on track. When your break arrives, the game unlocks and you play Zen mode as your reward. Notifications keep you on schedule even when the app is in the background. Customize every parameter: 15-60 minute work sessions, 5-20 minute breaks, 1-8 pomodoros per session, and 15-30 minute long breaks. NATURE-INSPIRED TILES Every tile value has a name drawn from nature: Morning Mist, Silver Rain, Spring Water, Clear Sky, Forest Moss, Ocean Glass, Honey Light, Sunset Coral, Autumn Berry, Twilight, Golden Dawn, Cherry Blossom Colors shift from soft grays through vibrant blues and greens to warm golds and corals as you climb higher. EARN THEMES THROUGH PLAY Five visual themes ā each one unlocked by reaching a lifetime score milestone: Dawn (warm corals), Forest (deep greens), Ocean (bright blues), Night (twilight purples) No purchase required. Just keep playing. ACHIEVEMENTS Five milestones track your lifetime score across all sessions and modes. Each unlock rewards you with a new theme, and the final achievement removes interstitial ads permanently. First Steps (1K) - Finding Flow (5K) - Deep Focus (15K) - Inner Peace (50K) - Enlightened (100K) DESIGNED FOR CALM - Ambient soundscape with pentatonic merge chimes tuned to each tile value - Subtle haptic feedback on every action - De-emphasized UI that stays out of your way - Accessibility options: color-blind mode, reduce motion, high contrast - Daily reminder notifications to keep your garden growing Numvana plays beautifully on both iPhone and iPad in portrait orientation. Your settings, scores, and achievements sync automatically. Start merging. Find your calm.
TriJong

TriJong is a fresh take on classic mahjong solitaire (as known from KMahjongg): the tiles are triangles ā and instead of pairs, you clear three matching tiles at a time! HOW TO PLAY ⢠Tap three matching free tiles to remove them. ⢠A tile is free when no tile rests on top of it and at least one of its slanted sides is open. ⢠Bonus tiles: the three flowers and the three seasons (gold border) look different but match one another. ⢠Goal: clear the whole board ā as fast as you can. FEATURES ⢠Rotate view, as in KMahjongg: look at the board from four angles ā revealing tiles hidden by upper layers ⢠Sculpted tiles with an ivory layer and a jade back ā each lower layer is one shade darker, so the layers are easy to tell apart ⢠Five languages: English, German, French, Spanish and Chinese ā the app follows your device language automatically ⢠Seven board layouts from 72 to 204 tiles, each with its own best time: Pyramid, Hexagon, Diamond, Fortress plus the large boards Double Diamond, Star and Great Pyramid ⢠Three difficulty levels for the classic boards: Easy (every design once), Medium (about half the designs doubled) and Hard (every design doubled ā 2Ć3 matching tiles, just like original mahjong) ⢠Zen mode: play without the clock ā no timer display, no best-time scoring ⢠Daily puzzle: a fresh board every day, the same for players worldwide ā with streak counter ⢠Four tile designs, including "Colored suits" and "Large numerals" for the best readability ⢠Every game number generates a guaranteed solvable game ā replay your favorites anytime ⢠Games in progress are saved automatically and resume on next start ⢠Statistics per board, hints, shuffle, unlimited undo/redo ⢠Two-finger zoom, portrait and landscape freely selectable ⢠Fully offline, no ads, no in-app purchases ā the only permission is optional vibration Inspired by the free KDE classic KMahjongg, reimagined with triangles and a match-three rule.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TriJong at none against Numvana's 5. TriJong also leads on ads (none vs shown) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and update cadence there is nothing between them.
