MacroMatrix FX is a macro-fundamental research tool for the foreign-exchange market. It analyses 12ā18 factors per pair ā interest-rate differentials, real yields, growth surprises, inflation divergence, risk sentiment, speculative positioning, and price structure ā and turns them into a single macro-bias score for each of the 10 most-traded currency pairs. MacroMatrix FX is an educational analysis app. It does not provide trade recommendations, entries, exits, or personalised advice. Nothing in the app is financial advice. Forex involves substantial risk of loss. Always do your own research and consult a qualified adviser. WHAT THE APP DOES ⢠Macro-bias scoring. A single ā5.0 to +5.0 score per pair, updated every few minutes. Labels range from NEUTRAL to EXTREME BULLISH / EXTREME BEARISH. The score tells you whether macro conditions are bullish or bearish for the pair ā nothing more. ⢠Four-regime detection. Carry, Transitional, Risk-Off and Crisis. Factor weights adjust automatically so calm-market drivers don't dominate a crisis read, and vice versa. ⢠Confidence and coherence. Each score comes with a confidence level (High / Mixed / Weak) plus a coherence metric that flags when factor families disagree. Low coherence tags the read as CONFLICT so you know conviction is low even if the score is large. ⢠Economic calendar. Upcoming high- and medium-impact releases for all majors, with per-currency filtering that only blocks pairs containing the event currency. ⢠Release outlook and impact review. Pre-release consensus view and a post-release surprise indicator (z-score standardised per event category) so you can see how an announcement moved the macro picture. ⢠Cross-pair confirmation. Each currency's macro strength is checked across the basket to validate or dampen individual-pair reads. 10 SUPPORTED PAIRS EURUSD Ā· GBPUSD Ā· USDJPY Ā· AUDUSD Ā· USDCAD Ā· USDCHF Ā· NZDUSD Ā· EURJPY Ā· GBPJPY Ā· EURGBP TIERS Free ⢠Dashboard with 3 pairs (EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY) ⢠Score card + fast price factors ⢠Full economic calendar ⢠Ad-supported Starter ⢠All 10 pairs unlocked with full factor breakdown ⢠Macro-bias alerts (conservative settings) ⢠Calendar reminders (high impact, 1h lead) ⢠No ads Pro ⢠Everything in Starter ⢠Release-impact alerts with event outlook ⢠Calendar reminders fully configurable (high + medium, 30m / 1h / 4h) ⢠Advanced tuning: gate, hysteresis, schedule, direction filter, favourites toggle PRIVACY No tracking across third-party apps or websites. COT Pulse
Read full descriptionHide full description
Read the weekly CFTC Commitment of Traders report in seconds instead of hours. Every Friday the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission publishes the Commitment of Traders report, showing how the largest participants in the currency futures market are positioned. The raw COT data is a wall of numbers. COT Pulse turns it into a clear picture of forex market sentiment across eight major currencies. WHO IT IS FOR Beginners who want to know what the COT report is saying without learning to parse a CFTC spreadsheet, and experienced traders who want positioning, price and extremes together on one screen. THREE TABS, ONE DATASET Simple One sentiment card per currency. See whether hedge funds are net buyers or net sellers, how far positioning moved this week, and where the COT index sits inside its own three year range. Detail A single currency in depth: the COT index gauge, a hedge fund net position chart across 14 weeks, 52 weeks or full history, and a plain language reading of what the week actually shows. Pro Price plotted against all three trader groups on one panel, with shaded extreme zones and the current net position of each group in contracts. WHAT YOU GET - Weekly COT data for the euro (EUR), British pound (GBP), Japanese yen (JPY), Australian dollar (AUD), US Dollar Index (USD), Canadian dollar (CAD), Swiss franc (CHF) and New Zealand dollar (NZD) - COT index scored against a rolling three year range - Net position, weekly change and open interest for every currency - Hedge funds, commercial hedgers and retail traders shown separately, never blended into one figure - Price versus positioning overlay chart for forex analysis - Extreme zone shading so stretched positioning is obvious at a glance - A divergence flag for the weeks when hedgers are pressing against speculators at an extreme - Raw CFTC figures, unmodified, for anyone who wants to audit the source - Weekly digest notification when new COT data is published - Custom alerts when a currency reaches a positioning extreme - Available in 20 languages UNDERSTANDING THE THREE CATEGORIES The CFTC groups traders into three categories, and COT Pulse labels all three accurately. Hedge funds, listed by the CFTC as non-commercial, are large speculators who tend to follow trends. Commercial hedgers hold real business exposure in the underlying market and have historically been the better informed side at positioning extremes. Retail traders sit below the CFTC reporting threshold and are recorded as non-reportable. Many tools collapse these into a single "smart money" number. COT Pulse keeps them separate, because the distinction is where the useful signal lives. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM CFTC Commitment of Traders, Legacy report, futures only. Published each Friday at 15:30 ET and reflecting positions held the prior Tuesday. Price data comes from European Central Bank reference rates. History reaches back more than two decades, so an extreme is measured against real precedent rather than a few recent months. BUILT FOR FOREX TRADERS COT Pulse is a focused forex sentiment tool. There is no account to create, no broker to connect and no portfolio to set up. Open the app and the current week is already there. IMPORTANT COT Pulse presents public market data for information and education. It is not investment advice and it does not forecast prices. Trading foreign exchange involves substantial risk, and past positioning does not indicate future results. Always do your own research.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: COT Pulse at none against MacroMatrixFx's 2. COT Pulse also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). MacroMatrixFx's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
