About

Omuti

Features

Omuti is a savings-club (chama / SACCO / VSLA) app for Uganda. Create a club with people you trust, set the rules together, contribute on a schedule, and watch your shared tree grow with every shilling recorded and visible to members. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Start a club or join one with an invite - Duo (two people, equal stakes) or a larger group • Set contribution amounts, frequency and due dates that members agree on • Contribute to a shared wallet and see every transaction in a clear, dated history • Pool funds and invest together in regulated unit trusts managed by licensed fund managers • Request a member advance from your club's own pooled savings, approved by member vote • Track each member's standing, contributions and repayments transparently • Get notified the moment money moves - contributions, approvals, payouts and reminders BUILT ON TRUST AND TRANSPARENCY Every action is logged to a shared ledger. Rule changes and advances need member approval, so no one moves the group's money alone. Sensitive actions are protected with a PIN and Face ID. A NOTE ON ADVANCES Member advances are made by your savings club from its own pooled member contributions and governed by member votes. Omuti is a coordination and record-keeping platform - not a lender. We do not originate, fund, guarantee or collect any advance, and we charge no finance or processing fee. INVESTMENTS Group investments are placed in unit trusts issued and managed by licensed fund managers. Omuti does not hold client funds or provide investment advice. The value of investments can go up or down. WHO IT'S FOR Friends, families, work groups, and community savings circles in Uganda who want to save and grow money together - with the transparency and reminders that keep everyone on the same page. Omuti is offered to adults resident in Uganda. By Bowline Knot Company Limited.
