Twenty facts a day. Zero practical value. You'll be back. Idle Curiosity is a daily drop of twenty genuinely surprising, genuinely true facts — the kind that make you put your phone down and go "wait, really?" Then pick it back up to tell someone. It's built to be the thing you open instead of doom-scrolling. WHAT YOU GET, EVERY DAY • Twenty fresh facts, hand-tuned to be surprising, non-obvious, and actually defensible — swipe through them one gorgeous full-screen card at a time. • A voice that knows it's ridiculous. Dry, smart, and never trying too hard. • Ten categories: space, biology, history, language, psychology, tech, food, oceans, math, and the reliably strange. THE GOOD STUFF • Rare finds. Some facts are rarer than others — most are Common, but every so often you'll hit a Rare, or the genuinely uncommon holographic Legendary that tilts and shines like a foil trading card. They land in your collection. • Your daily receipt. Finish the day's twenty and Idle Curiosity prints a beautiful shareable receipt of everything you learned — favorite fact, stats, streak, the works. • Pause cards. Between the facts, the occasional quiet moment: a teaching from a great mind — Marcus Aurelius to bell hooks — with a question worth sitting with. Properly attributed, never made up. • Keep going forever. Read all twenty and the feed keeps flowing. You're never shown the same fact twice (until you've genuinely seen them all). • Streaks, saves, and a trophy case for your rarest finds. HONEST ABOUT THE MECHANICS No infinite outrage. No ads for things you don't want. No account required — open it and start. Just a small, daily dose of knowing things nobody asked you to know. Come for the octopus hearts. Stay because you're now measurably more interesting.
