WhatChanged is a file and folder comparison app built to answer one practical question: what changed between these two copies? Compare two files or two folders on iPhone, iPad, and Mac and get a clear summary of added, removed, modified, renamed, and identical items. Use optional SHA-256 verification when metadata alone is not enough. On iPhone and iPad, start inside the app or send exactly two files from Files straight to WhatChanged. It is useful for backups, exports, cloud-drive copies, builds, and any “did this transfer match?” check. ◼ File and folder comparison • Compare two files or two folders as Left and Right • Review added, removed, modified, renamed, and identical items • Use smart ignore rules for hidden items, extensions, names, and patterns • Ignore line-ending or whitespace-only changes when appropriate • Preview supported files, keep recent comparisons, and export or share reports • Verify content with optional SHA-256 and cached re-checks • Use the app in 25 languages, with an optional in-app language override ◼ From the share sheet In Files, or another app that can share files, select exactly two files. Tap Share → WhatChanged. The comparison opens automatically. Tip: The extension is intended for file-to-file comparison. To compare folders, open the main app. ◼ Safe Merge Run a folder comparison, open Safe Merge, and choose a main rule: Newest, Oldest, Smallest (New), Smallest (Old), Biggest (New), or Biggest (Old). The Safe Merge Assistant shows selected items, recommendations, conflicts, blocking issues, output details, and safety checks before anything is copied. For individual output paths, you can keep the main Merge Rule or choose Left or Right. Recommended continues to show what the main rule would choose, while Selected shows what will actually be copied. The “+ Custom” indicator appears whenever exceptions are active. WhatChanged recalculates the plan and verifies it again before copying. Custom merges use a clearly named output folder, such as “Safe Merge by WhatChanged (Newest + Custom).” Successful merges include a generated README describing the compared folders, main rule, custom selections, copied items, output paths, counts, and safety notes. ◼ Quick text checks Use Direct Text Compare, supported text files, or folder-pair text results for convenient text checks. Copy a unified-diff-style result, search with Find in Diff, move between matches, highlight rows, and review Diff Summary counts. These text tools are included for quick comparison inside a file-and-folder utility. WhatChanged is not designed as a full drafting workspace. ◼ Looking for a dedicated text workspace? DiffDraft is designed specifically for comparing text versions and composing a clean final draft in a row-aware workspace. Source rows, draft rows, manual rows, and intentional gaps stay visually aligned, helping long reviews remain stable and trustworthy while you cherry-pick, edit, and continue later. View DiffDraft on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/diffdraft/id6779625050 ◼ Safe by design WhatChanged does not modify or delete your originals. Comparisons are read-only. Safe Merge writes only to a new output folder after you confirm the merge and every required safety check passes. ◼ Official website Product information, support, privacy details, and terms are available here: https://hazybyte.studio/whatchanged/ Requires iOS 16.6 or later. "Browse through Tor. Think with AI" - Explore the web through the Tor network and use AI that runs directly on your device. This brings together privacy-focused browsing, onion services, flexible search, and on-device AI in one place — without requiring an account. EVERYTHING THROUGH TOR • All browser traffic is routed through the Tor network. The browser connects to a Tor daemon running inside the app, with no fallback to a regular connection if the Tor connection is unavailable. • Web pages, searches, scripts, images, and other browser traffic follow the Tor route. • See the current Tor circuit at any time, including its guard, middle, and exit relays. NEW CIRCUIT, NEW ROUTE • Need a different route? New Circuit creates a fresh Tor circuit while keeping your current browsing session. • New Identity starts completely fresh by clearing the current circuits, cookies, caches, history, site settings, and connection information. EXPLORE ONION SERVICES • Open .onion addresses directly from the browser. • Onion services stay within the Tor network and do not require an exit relay. The browser clearly indicates when you are visiting an onion service. • Discover onion websites through supported onion-focused search sources, or combine multiple search sources into a single search experience. SEARCH YOUR WAY • Choose from built-in search sources or add your own. • Search results can be gathered from multiple sources in parallel, allowing you to compare what different engines return. • Browse results across: Web · News · Forums · Books • Results appear as individual search sources respond, so you don't have to wait for every source to finish. AI THAT RUNS ON YOUR DEVICE • Get AI assistance without sending every question to a remote AI server. • The built-in language model runs locally on your device and can help you: Summarise search results, Understand complex information, Extract important points, Explain content in simpler terms, Analyse information found on a page, Ask questions about what you're reading • Your AI experience stays close to your device. ASK ANY PAGE • Found something difficult to understand? Open the AI assistant while viewing a page. The assistant can analyse the content you're reading and answer questions about it. • Ask for a summary, explanation, key points, or a deeper look at what the page is saying. • The app can also use on-device visual and text recognition to understand content displayed on your screen. CLOUD AI — ONLY IF YOU CHOOSE • Prefer a more powerful cloud model? Connect a supported cloud AI API using your own API key. • Cloud AI is completely optional and off by default. When enabled, requests are sent directly to the cloud AI service you selected rather than through the app's own server. • The local AI model remains available whenever you want to keep AI processing on your device. BUILT AROUND PRIVACY • No account required • No advertising SDKs • No analytics SDKs • No unnecessary identifiers • No app-owned server receiving your searches or browsing history • Browsing data is kept in memory and cleared when the app closes • Voice search is processed on the device • Audio recordings are not uploaded by the app • Content analysed by the on-device assistant is not uploaded by the app CLEAR CONTROLS Privacy should be understandable, not hidden behind complicated settings. • Standard, Safer & Safest browsing levels • HTTPS-Only mode • Per-site HTTPS exceptions • Per-site JavaScript controls • Itemised browsing-data deletion • Live Tor connection information • Visible Tor circuit details • New Circuit and New Identity controls You can see and control how the browser behaves instead of relying on invisible defaults. "Browse privately. Search freely. Understand more." - A privacy-focused browser combining Tor browsing, onion services, flexible search, and on-device AI — designed to give you more control over your browsing and AI experience.
