Turntable Classic

A vinyl deck on your iPhone or iPad. Load a track, put your fingers on the record, and hear it respond. Turntable Classic brings back the pleasure of scratching, beatmatching by ear, and getting to know every little detail of a turntable. A DECK THAT FITS IPHONE DUO Open iPhone Duo for the complete turntable, record and moving tonearm. Close it for a portrait view of the waveform, track information, pitch, playback and key lock controls. On other iPhones and on iPad, the full deck plays in landscape. GET YOUR HANDS ON THE RECORD Hold the vinyl still, scratch in either direction, then let it go. Slide along the platter’s rim to gently speed up or slow down the track and fine-tune your beatmatching. The display shows those momentary speed changes as you make them. You can even scratch with the motor off. Adjust pitch from −8% to +8% and tap its LED to return to zero. Key lock preserves the musical key while you change playback tempo. Estimated BPM, remaining time and a waveform help you find your place. THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE A DECK Built from photographs of a real turntable, the interface has brushed metal, grooves, a slipmat and a strobe. The tonearm follows the track. Its lever lifts the needle, the pop-up light illuminates the record, and the platter coasts down when you cut the power. Move the cartridge to choose where to play, add a tape marker, or pinch to remove the record. Your track’s artwork becomes the record label. Button clicks, runout noise and needle skips after a firm jolt are optional. YOUR TRACKS, READY TO PLAY Import personal audio files through Files: MP3, unprotected M4A/AAC or WAV. You can also choose compatible, unprotected Music library tracks stored on the device. The browser distinguishes usable tracks from protected or unavailable items. Your imports stay in Turntable’s library. Two original tracks by Nuts are included: “L’appel du large” and “Car-bonara”. No Turntable account is needed. Audio analysis happens on the device. Long tracks and mixes are supported; preparation needs free storage. Apple Music, Spotify and Deezer catalog streaming are not supported. Apple Music subscription tracks, including downloads, and other protected files cannot be loaded. ONE DECK PER DEVICE Practice scratching on one iPhone or iPad, or connect two devices to an external mixer for a two-deck setup. A suitable wired audio output is recommended; use a compatible adapter if needed. KEEP IT BLACK. OR ADD COLOR. Black vinyl is included. Two optional one-time purchases are available: remove ads, or unlock white, red, blue and transparent vinyl with ad removal included. No subscription. Prices are shown in the app. The free version may show ads at launch and when loading tracks. Requires iOS 17 or iPadOS 17, or a later version supported by your device. Playback stops when the app moves to the background.
