Your child reads aloud. Readigo listens, catches every misread word, and shows you both exactly what to practice next. Built for ages 6–12, Readigo turns reading practice into something your child will actually do without a fight. They pick a story, tap Start, and read out loud. Misread words turn red on the spot, so they see each stumble as it happens instead of hearing about it later. HOW THE COACHING WORKS Readigo uses speech recognition tuned for young readers' voices, then grades four things: accuracy, fluency, pace, and clarity, using phonics rules from the Science of Reading. Most apps for this age don't score reading aloud. Readigo is built to do exactly that. WHAT YOUR CHILD GETS • A story library they'll actually pick from: fairy tales, manga, and short educational stories • Igo, a friendly lavender dragon who listens, cheers, and levels up with every book they finish • Word-by-word feedback in the moment, so small mistakes don't harden into habits • Storyteller mode for bedtime: the app reads the story aloud when your child just wants to listen WHAT YOU GET AS A PARENT • A weekly report with real numbers: books read, minutes practiced, accuracy percentage, and reading pace in words per minute • A clear answer to "is this actually working?" instead of vague praise badges • Ten minutes of daily practice you don't have to referee A GOOD FIT IF • Your 6-to-8-year-old is sounding out words and needs a patient listener • Your 9-to-12-year-old can read but rushes, mumbles, or skips words • You homeschool and want fluency numbers without running timed tests yourself • Reading practice at your house tends to end in tears, theirs or yours THE DETAILS • App interface in English, Spanish, French, Polish, and Ukrainian • Requires iOS 16 or later on iPhone and iPad • Readigo Premium opens the full library and coaching Download Readigo, hand your child the phone, and listen from the kitchen. The first unprompted "one more page?" usually shows up within the first week. Readigo Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. • Subscription length: 1 month or 1 year (choose in the app) • Price: shown in the app before purchase, charged to your Apple ID • Auto-renews unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. About

SayPlay

Features

SayPlay is a private, on-device speech development tracker for parents and caregivers of young children. Tap record for 15 minutes a day. SayPlay listens, transcribes on-device, and quietly builds a picture of your child's vocabulary, talk-time, and developmental milestones. Nothing is ever uploaded. WHAT SAYPLAY DOES • Captures short audio sessions and transcribes them on-device using Apple's Speech framework. Audio and transcripts never leave your phone. • Tracks unique vocabulary against age-appropriate CDI norms (50% production age, currently English). • Logs CDC-style developmental milestones across language, social, emotional, and cognitive domains. • Celebrates first words with a shareable card you decide whether to share. • Surfaces talk-time trends, mean length of utterance, and tone mix per session. • Offers gentle Play activities — short, age-tuned prompts you hand the phone to your child for. • Filters non-target voices once you enroll your child's voice profile (three short clips, on-device only). PRIVACY BY DESIGN • 100% on-device speech recognition. SayPlay refuses to start if on-device dictation isn't available on your device — it will never silently fall back to Apple's servers. • No analytics. No tracking. No account. No login. No network requests. • Research export is opt-in, anonymized (name and birth date stripped), gated by a parental check, and saved to a file you control. • Wiping data is permanent and instant, also gated by a parental check. DESIGNED FOR FAMILIES • Warm, kid-friendly visuals — but built to clinical seriousness. Milestone framing matches CDC "Learn the Signs. Act Early." domain language. • Optional multi-child profiles. • Locale-aware: switches recognition to the child's home language where on-device support exists. • Accessible: VoiceOver labels, Dynamic Type, high-contrast colors. WHO IT'S FOR • Parents who want a longitudinal view of their child's words without uploading audio anywhere. • Speech-language pathologists and early-intervention clinicians looking for a parent-friendly bridge to milestone screening. • Researchers running ecologically valid speech development studies (with consenting families). WHAT SAYPLAY ISN'T SayPlay isn't a diagnostic tool. It surfaces patterns and prompts conversations with your pediatrician — it doesn't replace one.
