PriceBack helps you organize Costco purchases and spot possible price-adjustment opportunities before the usual 30-day window closes. SCAN OR IMPORT Scan a US Costco warehouse receipt, choose photos or import a PDF. Recognition happens on your iPhone. Digital PDFs use available text, with image recognition when needed. Share a receipt PDF or image from another app to PriceBack, then open Receipts to import it. Manual entry remains available, including for Costco.com purchases. SAVE NOW, REVIEW WHEN NEEDED Keep the receipt and its original pages even when some fields need attention. Clear items with reliable receipt details can be tracked; uncertain items stay out of price matching until verified. Correct item numbers, quantities, discounts, dates and totals without starting a new scan. Confirmed product-name corrections are learned locally and can be cleared. COMPARE RECEIPT PRICES Choose fixed-size items for comparisons. PriceBack looks for newer reports with the same item number, warehouse and currency, and shows the observed difference separately from confirmed savings. Variable-weight items should remain tracking-only. OPTIONAL COMMUNITY ALERTS Enable community alerts with iCloud to receive notifications when another contributor reports a lower price for a matching active purchase. Sharing your own receipt prices is a separate, optional choice. Community records contain structured item and price information, not receipt photos, membership numbers or payment details. PERSONAL PROMOTIONS Import promotional PDFs, images or text you received, then verify item identity, dates, channel and conditions in Savings Match. Discount-only offers do not establish a final selling price or refund amount. Imports stay on your device; there is no automatic mailbox connection. STAY ORGANIZED Use Home, Watchlist, Receipts, Savings and Settings to follow deadlines, update confirmed prices, record adjustments you received and manage notifications. Report inaccurate observations, block contributors and withdraw contributed prices. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS Coverage depends on users contributing recent comparable receipts. PriceBack does not automatically retrieve Costco's retailer price feed. Reports and recognition can contain errors; notifications may be delayed or disabled. Verify the current price, identical package, promotion conditions and eligibility directly with Costco. A reported difference is not a guaranteed refund. PriceBack is an independent app from Darwich Technologies LLC, not affiliated with or endorsed by Costco Wholesale Corporation. Costco determines eligibility, which can vary by purchase channel, location, item and promotion. Receipt comparisons support US dollar warehouse receipts.
