Shade Walker
Read full descriptionHide full description
Move the sun. Swing the shadows. Get your ice cream home before it melts. Shade Walker is a turn-based logic puzzle. Your ice cream cone can only stand in the shade, and every building and tree on the board casts a shadow that turns as the day goes on. Take a few steps, push the sun forward an hour, watch the shade swing to a new place, and step again. Reach the freezer and you're safe. The catch: time only goes forward. Advance the sun too soon and the shade you needed is gone. Every level asks you to look ahead and plan the whole day, not just the next move. HOW IT PLAYS • Tap a cell to walk. Tap the sun dial to move the sun to its next stop. • Houses cast short shadows, towers cast long ones. At noon, shadows shrink. • Step into the sun and you melt. Undo is unlimited and free. • Push crates to build your own shade where there is none. • Finish a level with as few sun moves as possible to earn 3 stars. 110 PUZZLES, 5 CHAPTERS Morning Walk teaches the rules. Long Afternoon adds more hours to the day. Moving Day brings crates. Heat Wave and Longest Day put it all together on bigger boards with a little more room for error. Every puzzle has been checked by a solver to make sure it has a real solution, and from chapter 2 on, that spinning the sun alone never wins. MADE FOR SHORT SESSIONS • Levels take a minute or two, so it fits a coffee break or a commute. • No account and no login. Your progress is saved on your device. • Painted, storybook art with a calm palette. Quiet and clear, without a timer. • Stuck? A hint shows the next move of an optimal solution from where you are. FREE TO PLAY, HONESTLY Shade Walker is free with ads. Rewarded videos are optional and only play when you ask for a hint or a second chance after melting. A one-time purchase removes the banner and interstitial ads for good. Optional hint packs and two cosmetic board themes (Night and Mars) are also available. There are no paid levels and nothing you need to buy to finish the game. Stay in the shade. See you at the freezer.
