About

BLIP

BLIP is not a messenger. It's a disposable communication tool. Create a chat room with one tap. Share the link. Talk. Leave. Everything is destroyed — permanently, irreversibly. WHAT MAKES BLIP DIFFERENT End-to-End Encryption (E2EE): Every message is encrypted with Curve25519 ECDH key exchange and XSalsa20-Poly1305 authenticated encryption. Not even we can read your messages. Zero Server Storage: Messages are never stored in any database. Communication happens through real-time broadcast channels that vanish the moment participants leave. Peer-to-Peer Media: Photos and videos are transferred directly between devices via WebRTC DataChannel (TURN-only relay). Media never touches our servers. Screenshot & Screen Recording Guard: The app detects capture attempts and instantly blurs all content. Nothing to capture, nothing to leak. Auto-Shred Messages: Only the most recent messages stay on screen. Older messages are destroyed in real-time — no scrollback, no history. No Account Required: No sign-up, no login, no profile. Just a link and a shared password. That's it. Open Source: The entire codebase is publicly available. Verify our security claims yourself. Encrypted Community Boards: Create private, password-protected communities. All posts are stored as unreadable ciphertext — the server is blind. BLIP exists to let you speak freely and disappear completely. We don't want to keep you here. Say your piece, then leave.

About

Perch Chat

Features

A free one-to-one chat you can use without giving out your contact details. Send a link or show a QR code and the conversation starts. The other person needs no app and no account — they can reply straight from their browser. The room disappears 28 days later, along with every message, photo and video. When it comes in handy ◾Someone you met around town or at a shop Instead of swapping contact details, just show your QR code. No phone number, no social accounts, and you can still reach each other afterwards. Paste the URL of the place you're meeting and it shows up with the name and a photo. ◾Someone you know online Photos, videos, voice messages, voice calls, video calls. Just about anything you'd do in your usual chat app works here too. And all they ever see is your nickname and avatar. ◾A one-off exchange Handing something over, someone you travelled with, someone seated next to you at an event, a short contract job. After 28 days it's gone on its own. Nothing is left behind. ◾When you haven't decided whether to share your contact details It sits one step before handing over your everyday account. If it keeps going you can swap contact details; if not, it ends after 28 days. Features ◾Invites One link, or a QR code shown in person. The other person replies from their browser, with no install and no sign-up. A conversation started on the web moves to the app with a 6-digit code. Same steps when you change phones. ◾Messages Send photos, videos and voice messages. Voice messages can be read as text too. Draw on a photo with a pen or marker, or blur the parts you'd rather not show. Quote replies, emoji reactions, pinning, and selecting several messages at once to copy. You have 15 minutes to rewrite what you sent, and you can unsend it. Paste a URL and its title and image appear, so you know what it is before opening it. Send without making a sound late at night, or schedule it to arrive in the morning. ◾Calls One-to-one voice and video calls. You can switch to video in the middle of a call. Missed calls stay in the conversation. ◾It disappears after 28 days 28 days after a room is created, the messages, photos and videos all go together. The days remaining are shown in the conversation. ◾Privacy No phone number or email address is used to sign up. All the other person sees is your nickname and avatar. App Lock (face, fingerprint, passcode) asks before the app opens. You can also hide message text in notifications, or silence them during hours you choose. Dark mode supported. Free to use.
