About

Queah

Liberian Queah is a two-player abstract strategy game from Liberia. It is specifically from the Gio tribe. The game is played on a slanted or diagonal square board with only 13 spaces. Pieces move "orthogonally" along these slanted or diagonal square boards. Another unique feature is that each player must have maximum four pieces on the board. Player's captured piece may resupplied with a piece from their reserve (unless of course the player has no more pieces to resupply with).

About

Baghra

Baghra is Bagh-Chal โ€“ Nepal's traditional "Tigers and Goats": an asymmetric strategy game, done beautifully and fairly. Four tigers hunt on a 5ร—5 line grid, capturing goats by jumping them (as in checkers). Twenty goats have one goal: hem the tigers in until none can move. Learn the rules in a minute โ€“ the games run deep. ONE GAME, DONE RIGHT โ€ข Ad-free. No subscription. No tracking. No timers. โ€ข A fair, tiered AI: easy, medium, hard. โ€ข Play as the tigers or the goats โ€“ or two players on one device (hot-seat). โ€ข Interactive tutorial: placing, jumping, trapping โ€“ step by step. โ€ข Handsome board themes, haptics and sound, full VoiceOver support. TWO PHASES First the goats place 20 pieces (one per turn) while the tigers already move and capture. Then both sides slide along the lines. Tigers win by capturing five goats; goats win by blocking every tiger. Bagh-Chal is a centuries-old Himalayan game. Baghra brings it to your iPhone in a calm, ad-free form.
