Runtastic Events vs Gulo

The Runtastic Events app is used for race day tracking to receive turn-by-turn instructions and for your friends and family to track your progress in real-time.

Never run, hike, walk alone again. Gulo helps runners, walkers, and hikers find people to move with — no more dead group texts, flaky plans, or wondering if anyone else is actually coming. DISCOVER WHAT'S HAPPENING NEARBY Browse a live map of runs, walks, and hikes posted by people near you. Filter by pace, distance, and time so you only see what actually fits your day. HOST IN UNDER A MINUTE Set a route, pace range, and meeting spot, and let Gulo handle the rest — join requests, waitlists, and a shared chat for everyone who's in. BUILD YOUR CREW Create a group for your regular running buddies, trail crew, or walking club. Set up recurring activities so your weekly long run or Tuesday hike is always on the calendar. COORDINATE WITHOUT THE CHAOS Everyone who joins an activity gets a shared chat to confirm details, ask questions, and share photos before and after you meet up. Need to share exactly where you are? Send a one-time location pin — never live or background tracking. KEEP YOUR HISTORY Every completed activity adds to your profile, so your running life lives in one place instead of scattered screenshots and group chats you can't find again. BUILT FOR REAL SAFETY Report or block anyone, anytime. Activity hosts and admins control who can join and who can post. Your data is never sold, and you can delete your account and everything in it, in-app, whenever you want. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email — no ads, no data brokers, no noise. Just people to move with.
