From assessing consciousness to emergency response. An educational app for practicing two core skills on the ward and in the ER: assessing impaired consciousness and finding its cause, and leading the initial response when a patient suddenly deteriorates. Work through 3D cases as often as you like. ■ Emergency Response Training • Scenario simulation: A patient on the ward suddenly arrests. As team leader, take charge from recognition and BLS through defibrillation, drug administration and tracheal intubation to post–cardiac arrest care (3 cases, with scoring) • Skill drills: 6 hands-on drills covering chest compressions, bag-mask ventilation, defibrillation, ECG, drugs and tracheal intubation • Lessons: the BLS and ALS sequence, the 4 cardiac arrest rhythms, defibrillation, drugs, the 4 Hs and 4 Ts, and post–cardiac arrest care, taught with 3D visuals and quizzes ■ NEW: Intubation In Depth • 9 topics you can pick straight from the menu: overview, equipment, upper airway anatomy, positioning and mouth opening, laryngoscopy technique, the airway in 3D, passing the tube and depth, confirmation, and troubleshooting • See the laryngoscopic view (Cormack–Lehane grades, BURP) and the tube passing the cords in animated close-ups • Covers ETCO2, 5-point auscultation, depth and cuff pressure, and DOPE, with a 13-question quiz ■ Consciousness Assessment Training • Clinical mode: Watch how a 3D patient responds to voice and to pain, grade the JCS (Japan Coma Scale) and GCS, then work out the cause of impaired consciousness one question at a time (12 cases, about 2 minutes each) You can also ask the patient’s name and where they are, or ask them to squeeze your hand, and cause questions bring in pupil findings and real CT and MRI images. • JCS quiz / GCS quiz: Practice scoring with 30 fictional cases, complete with timer, points and ranks • Learn: JCS and GCS quick reference, Pupil atlas (try the pupillary light reflex in 3D), and AIUEOTIPS, the Japanese take on the AEIOU TIPS mnemonic ■ Who it's for • Nurses, medical residents, paramedics and EMTs, and healthcare students • Anyone who wants more confidence scoring JCS and GCS • Anyone who wants to run through the BLS and ALS sequence hands-on ■ PRO mode (one-time purchase) • Unlocks every case in Clinical mode (Consciousness Assessment Training), adds Favorites, and removes ads • Unlocks cases 2 and 3 of the emergency Scenario simulation (case 1 is free) • No subscription.
