Endura vs Ascend

Endura is the study app that makes focus feel like something worth fighting for. Set your timer, watch your egg come alive on screen, and stay in the app — because the moment you try to leave, Endura reminds you: your egg won’t survive without you. When time’s up, crack it open. Inside is a rare, real-world endangered animal, released into your personal sanctuary to roam, rest, and grow your collection. Features: ∙ STUDY TIMER — Choose your subject, set a timer, and focus. Our distraction-free timer keeps you motivated with gentle reminders — leave early and your egg might not make it. ∙ HATCH ENDANGERED ANIMALS — Every completed study session hatches a new endangered species — from Amur Leopards to Pangolins. Nickname them, learn about their conservation status, and build your sanctuary. ∙ PERSONALISE YOUR SANCTUARY — spend Eco-Credits on accessories and decorations (yes, your panda can wear a party hat) ∙ PROTECT REAL WILDLIFE — Donate directly to WWF conservation projects from inside the app. 100% of donations go to protecting habitats and endangered species worldwide. ∙ Progress Tracking — weekly, monthly, and subject-by-subject breakdowns with visual charts ∙ Global Leaderboards — compete with friends, classmates, and students worldwide ∙ Animal Study Tips Feed — scroll through unconventional, actually useful, research-backed study tips delivered by your animals ∙ To-Do Lists & Badges — stay organised and get rewarded for every milestone Endura took what makes social media impossible to put down — streaks, leaderboards, collections, social comparison — and redirected it somewhere that actually matters. Built by a 16-year-old IB student who believes her generation can truly change the course for endangered species. Endura is youth-led, free to use, and designed to make every study session count. Ascend turns focus into proof. Plan your session, do the work, and watch your effort compound into something visible — a streak, a rank, a shared win with people who hold you accountable. Focus that adapts to you Start a session and Ascend builds the right structure around it — set an estimated time on a task and it automatically becomes one clean session or a properly-paced sequence with breaks, instead of a generic 25-minute default. Lock your phone mid-session and keep the countdown live right on your Lock Screen. Tasks, habits, and goals that actually connect Track one-off tasks and recurring habits side by side, then link them to real goals so your daily effort visibly rolls up into something bigger — not just a checklist, but progress you can point to. Proof, not just points Every session, streak, and milestone earns you real standing — track your Rank, unlock achievements from your very first session through months of consistency, and see your full collection any time from your Profile. Accountability that's actually social Share your progress, follow people who keep you honest, and see how your effort compares — the sharing and social layer is fully free, because staying accountable shouldn't be a premium feature. Calm by design Ascend's focus screen is built to disappear — no clutter, no noise, just you and the timer. A guided setup helps you enable Focus Mode so other notifications stay quiet while you work. Your data, your control Granular privacy controls let you decide exactly what's visible — your profile, your leaderboard presence, your stats, and your activity feed can each be shown or hidden independently. Ascend is built for students, developers, freelancers, and anyone who wants their effort to actually show up somewhere — not just in their head. Download Ascend and start your first session today.
