About

Dear Wander

Features

Dear Wander is a screen time companion for using your phone less. Its journal helps you stick to it. You pick the apps you open too often. When you go to open one, Dear Wander shows up first, with the sentence you wrote that morning. You breathe with the orb for about a minute, then it asks how you feel now. You decide whether to open the app or put the phone down. The journal keeps track of your day In the morning you write one sentence for the day. In the afternoon the app asks how you're feeling about it, and at night how it went. If it was hard, it asks whether it was too much for one day, and the next morning you can start from a smaller step. Each pause shows up in your journal with how you felt after. When you want to write more, there's a question drawn from what you did today, or a blank page. Your week Each week you see how many times you paused and how you felt after, next to one line you wrote. For harder moments A 5-4-3-2-1 grounding exercise, to come back to your senses. Built on Apple's Screen Time You choose the apps and websites. What you write stays on your phone, and there's no account to create. Dear Wander is free with one app. Dear Wander+ is a single payment for every app you choose, with grounding and insights. No subscription.
