Add any publicly-visible web page or article in the app, or via the "Share" button, to create a high-quality audio version for offline listening. Once the app is set up, other than downloading the article text, all audio processing occurs offline, on your device—no data is sent off your device, and you don't use up any bandwidth while listening to your "custom podcast". Load up a bunch of articles, and save the audio files for later listening when traveling, etc. Voices in 8 languages (English (US & UK), Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese) are from the lightweight, high-quality, open source Kokoro model https://huggingface.co/hexgrad/Kokoro-82M 100% free of charge, since your phone's GPU is doing the work (no need to pay for cloud compute) Open source code for the app (MIT License) available at https://github.com/skywalkerswartz/Articles2Podcast/ ...please feel free to suggest fixes/enhancements and report issues Known issues: 1. Due to limitations of the iPhone's GPU, the app must be open in order to create the audio files (audio generation pauses if the app goes into the background) 2. Some websites/publications block the Mozilla Readbility.js library used for downloading article text

Volflow is a fast, private web browser built on Apple's WebKit engine the same engine as Safari. It opens in normal mode so your tabs, history and sessions stay right where you left them, and a Face ID-protected private mode is one tap away whenever you need it. PRIVATE WHEN YOU WANT IT Volflow starts in normal browsing mode, so your history, tabs and sessions persist locally on your device nothing leaves it. When you want a clean slate, open the tab switcher and switch to Private mode in one tap. Private mode is per-session and ephemeral: nothing is saved, and it's protected by Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode so only you can reopen it. Safari-style tab groups keep your Tabs and Private tabs cleanly separated. ON-DEVICE AD & TRACKER BLOCKING Volflow blocks ads and trackers directly on your device using updatable filter lists EasyList for ads, EasyPrivacy for trackers, plus Turkish filters 110,000+ rules combined. Pages load faster and cleaner, and the lists refresh so protection stays current. PRIVACY YOU CAN TRUST • No accounts, no analytics, no tracking or advertising SDKs, and no data collection by the developer. • Bookmarks, history, downloads and settings are stored locally only. History and searches are recorded only in normal mode never in private mode. • Optional page translation uses Google Translate. It is off by default and user-initiated; only the pages you choose to translate are sent to Google for translation. This is the one feature that contacts a third party. Everything else stays on your device. FEATURES • Normal mode that remembers your tabs, history and sessions • Face ID / Touch ID / passcode-protected private mode (per-session, nothing saved) • Safari-style tab groups (Tabs / Private) and a tab switcher with search • Multiple tabs, bookmarks, history and downloads • Find on page, pull to refresh, and iPad multi-window • Offline video player for downloaded videos • Google Lens image search • Selectable search engine (DuckDuckGo by default, or Google) • Optional per-network connection profiles and custom DNS for reliable page loads • Optional page translation via Google Translate • Built on Apple WebKit the same engine as Safari Volflow is a privacy-respecting browser, not an anonymity service. It does not hide your identity or change your IP address.
