NYC Block Check is an independent guide to public information around a New York City address. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the City of New York, NYPD, MTA, New York State, or any government agency. It does not provide official government services or emergency dispatch. Check parking rules and street-cleaning schedules, subway and bus service, trash and recycling collection, 311 service requests, building and housing records, inspections, crashes, local events, and other neighborhood information in one place. Save the places that matter to you and choose which alerts you want to receive. The map and address reports organize records from NYC Open Data and responsible agencies, including NYC 311, DOT, DOF, NYPD, HPD, DOB, DOHMH, DSNY, NYC Public Schools, and NYC Emergency Management. Transit information comes from MTA; traffic and camera information comes from 511NY. Other identified sources include Citi Bike/Lyft, OpenStreetMap, and the National Weather Service. News cards identify their publisher and link to the original article. NYC Block Check creates its own summaries, categories, comparisons, and countdowns from cited records. These are informational estimates, not official government findings. Public data can be delayed, incomplete, or revised; a complaint or request does not prove an outcome. Check time-sensitive details with the linked original source. Call 911 for emergencies and 311 for official NYC services. Full source links are available in Settings → Sources & Independence. Getting a parking ticket in New York City ruins your day—and your wallet. Whether you're a delivery driver, a courier, or just circling the block in Manhattan, Park Hero turns confusing curb signs into one simple answer: can you park here right now? We combine official NYC Department of Transportation data with AI to build a color-coded map of every block. No more squinting at three signs stacked on one pole — open the app, tap the curb, and know instantly where you can park, load, or stand. WHAT THE COLORS MEAN GREEN — Free & unrestricted parking YELLOW — Metered parking (know exactly when it's free) ORANGE — Commercial loading zones only RED — Prohibited (fire hydrants, no standing) PURPLE — Street cleaning / alternate side parking BLUE — Authorized / NYPD only Tap any colored line or dot for exact time limits, the next rule change, and your tow risk — all in real time. That's the difference between a parking spot and a $115 fine. BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY DRIVE THESE STREETS If you're running delivery routes, working as a courier, or just tired of losing a morning to alternate-side parking, Park Hero is built around your day, not a tourist's. COVERAGE Park Hero currently covers all five boroughs — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. More cities are on the way. Try Park Hero free, then continue for $1.99/month.
