Tethers is a calm, private relationship tracker for the people who matter most. Made for iPhone and iPad, Tethers adapts continuously across full screen, split screen, and rotation while keeping your private atlas focused and readable. Life moves fast. Months pass before you realize you haven't called your college roommate, caught up with your mentor, or checked in on a friend going through something hard. Tethers helps you stay ahead of that drift, not with pressure, but with a gentle nudge at the right moment. Organize by closeness Put people into tiers β€” Inner Circle, Close, Regular, or whatever makes sense to you. Each tier has its own check-in rhythm. When it's been too long, you'll know. Gentle nudges, not guilt No streaks. No scores. No shame. Just a quiet daily reminder when someone could use a β€œhey, thinking of you.” You set the pace, one nudge a day or five, whenever feels right. Log the ways you actually connect A quick call. A long catch-up in person. A birthday text. Tethers tracks how you connect β€” calls, texts, in-person visits, or anything else β€” so the picture of your relationships stays accurate over time. Birthdays, remembered Add birthdays and Tethers will quietly surface them before the day arrives, so you're never sending a late message again. Message ideas, on your terms Tethers writes and checks message ideas on your device. On supported iOS 27 devices, optional Private Deep Read can send only one selected relationship’s redacted notes and check-in context to Apple Private Cloud Compute when you explicitly request it. Tethers contact fields, photos, birthdays, tags, other relationships, your writing profile, final drafting, and message sending stay on your device. Your existing drafts remain available if you decline, cancel, lose the connection, or reach Apple’s daily allowance. Relationship insights See how your year looked: total check-ins, who you reached out to most, connection patterns by type, and which relationships might need a little more attention. Honest, useful, never judgmental. Your data, and only yours Tethers stores relationship data on your device, with optional private iCloud sync through your Apple account. No Tethers account. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking. Private Deep Read is optional and request-only. Apple says PCC request data is used only to fulfill the request and is not stored after the response. Tethers isn't about optimizing your social life. It's about not losing the people you care about to the noise of everyday life.

About

Rootkeep

Features

Rootkeep is a personal CRM for your real life - the friends, family, mentors, and colleagues you actually care about. It tells you who needs you right now, helps you keep the promises you make, and remembers the details so you can show up like the thoughtful person you want to be. Inspired by the relationship philosophy of "Never Eat Alone", Rootkeep is built on one idea: strong relationships grow from small, consistent touches - not grand gestures. WHO NEEDS YOU RIGHT NOW Open the app and see exactly who to reach out to today. Rootkeep ranks the people you've gone quiet with, surfaces birthdays before you miss them, and turns your good intentions into one short, doable list. KEEP EVERY PROMISE Said "let's grab coffee soon" or "I'll send you that article"? Log it as a promise and Rootkeep holds you to it - front and center until you follow through. Checking one off feels as good as it should. LOG A CATCH-UP IN SECONDS A call, a coffee, a chance meeting - capture it in a few taps before you forget. Add who it was with, what you talked about, and what you promised. Follow-ups become reminders automatically. REMEMBER THE LITTLE THINGS Kids' names, favorite wine, the job change, the move to Lisbon. Keep notes on every person so your next conversation picks up right where the last one ended. NEVER MISS A BIRTHDAY Birthdays surface right in your daily list, exactly when it's time to reach out - no separate calendar to check. SET RELATIONSHIP GOALS Want to reconnect with old colleagues or invest in a mentorship? Link people to goals and let your daily nudges keep you moving. AI THAT HELPS, NEVER BLOCKS An optional AI advisor helps you think through your relationships - who to prioritize, how to reconnect after a long silence, what to say. Every feature works fully without it. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - No account. No sign-up. No tracking. - Your data lives on your device and syncs through your own private iCloud - never on our servers, because we don't have any. - Works completely offline. FREE, NO CATCH No subscription, no paywall, no ads. Your network isn't a spreadsheet. It's the people who will show up for you - if you show up for them. Rootkeep helps you show up.
