WolfWhale is a Canadian school app built for how a school day actually feels โ€” simple enough for a student or parent to open and instantly know what matters, capable enough for teachers and admins underneath. Every person opens to one clean screen โ€” no menus to hunt through: - Students see what's due next, their classes, grades, and progress โ€” plus games, a resource library, and career trails to explore. - Parents get a single dashboard per child: today's attendance, work owing, and a calm note on how they're doing โ€” with one tap to message the teacher. - Teachers land on today's decisions first โ€” take attendance, grade what's waiting, plan assignments โ€” with each class one swipe away. - Admins see the school's pulse and can export every record any time (CSV/JSON, no lock-in). Designed for Canadian schools: - Works alongside your division's existing student information system. - Records are yours โ€” full export, full audit trail of who changed what and when. - Bilingual (English/French) and built with accessibility as a foundation. - Data hosted in Canada. WolfWhale is part of WolfWhale EdTech โ€” a growing home for Canadian and Indigenous learning tools.

About

Code Forge

Code Forge teaches you programming the way you'd actually want to learn it: short lessons, real code you can run, and small challenges that keep your brain awake. The app is built around three paths. 1. Programming basics Start from zero with TypeScript. Variables, functions, classes, conditionals, loops, lists, dictionaries, randomness, and the rest of the foundations. Every concept comes with a runnable example. Change the code, hit run, and see what happens. The built-in compiler turns each lesson into a tiny playground instead of a wall of text. 2. Game development Once the basics click, you move into how games actually work. What a game engine is. The game loop. Update vs fixed update. Delta time. Input, state, simple physics. You'll read and tweak real examples, and by the final chapters you're putting small games together yourself. 3. Shaders The last path goes into the part most tutorials skip. What a shader is, how vertex and fragment stages fit together, the math behind them, and the small algorithms that make things glow, ripple, or distort. Examples are interactive so you can poke at the numbers and watch the picture change. Mini challenges at the end of each chapter Every lesson ends with optional mini games and short puzzles. Pattern matching, quick logic rounds, small coding tasks. Quizzes A separate quiz mode lets you test what stuck. Questions cover programming, game dev, and shaders, sorted by topic, so you can drill the area you're less sure about instead of guessing through everything. Who it's for - Beginners who want a calm, structured way into programming without buying a textbook - Self-taught developers who want to finally understand game loops and shaders - Students who want extra practice alongside their college courses - Anyone who learned to code years ago and wants a refresher with real examples What makes it different - Runnable code inside every lesson - Three full paths that actually connect: code, then games, then shaders - Short chapters you can finish on a coffee break - Optional mini games for the days you want something lighter - Quizzes for when you want to prove to yourself you got it You don't need any prior experience. If you've never written a line of code, the first chapter assumes that. If you already know the basics, you can jump ahead to game dev or shaders and use the early lessons as a refresher.
