Lamplit — Words worth finding. Lamplit is a premium word puzzle game built around acrostics: each clue has an answer, and the first letters of those answers spell a hidden “spine” word. As you solve, the spine reveals letter by letter until the full word appears. The game takes its name and look from the Victorian era, when acrostics were the puzzle of choice for educated readers — warm, thoughtful, and satisfying. Two puzzle types - Single acrostic — The first letter of each answer spells the spine word. Perfect for learning the format and daily play. - Double acrostic — First and last letters of each answer spell two different words at once. A step up in challenge and reward. Two clue styles - Modern — Clear, direct clues so you can focus on the puzzle. - Classic — Lyrical, Victorian-style clues. Unlocks after you’ve completed a set number of puzzles, so it feels earned, not paywalled. Daily puzzle - One new puzzle every day. Weekdays are standard acrostics; weekends offer double acrostics. Same puzzle for everyone, so you can compare and share without spoilers. Streaks and hints - Build a streak by completing the daily puzzle on consecutive days. Optional streak shields (one free per week, more by purchase) help protect your streak. - Use hints to reveal a single letter when you’re stuck. Hints refresh with daily play and can be topped up with optional bundles. Honest, upfront pricing - Free: Daily puzzle plus a starter set of puzzles so you can learn and play without paying. - One-time unlock — One purchase unlocks the full base library and removes ads. No subscription. - Themed packs — Buy only the themes you like (Weather, Literature, Nature, Mythology, History, and more). - Hint bundles and streak shields — Optional add-ons when you want a little extra help or streak protection. Designed to feel premium - Warm, lamp-lit look: deep backgrounds, amber accents, serif type. - Smooth animations and clear feedback when answers are correct or wrong. - Dark mode by design — cozy and easy on the eyes. - Play offline: all puzzle content is on your device. For players who like craft - Lamplit is for people who enjoy word games with depth and a clear, fair business model — no subscriptions, no dark patterns. If you like crosswords, Wordle, or classic newspaper puzzles, Lamplit offers a different format with a distinctive look and feel.

About

Number Chain

Features

Just Number Chain is a calm take on the number-chain puzzle (sometimes known as Hidato or Numbrix). The board has some numbers already given. Fill in the rest so the numbers 1 to N form a continuous chain — and any two consecutive numbers must touch, including diagonally. Two small rules govern the whole game: 1. Every cell on the board holds exactly one number from 1 to N. 2. Number k and number k+1 must sit in adjacent cells (up, down, left, right, OR diagonal). Some boards have holes — empty spaces that the chain wraps around. The given numbers anchor the puzzle; from those, the rest of the chain is fully determined. Simple rules, plenty of room to think. CONTENT — Hundreds of hand-curated puzzles, every one verified to have a unique solution. — Two phases of play. First, work through the campaign — a steady curve from gentle 5×5 starters up to 8×8 boards with irregular cutouts. Then Free Play opens: pick any difficulty and keep drawing from the library at your own pace. — A three-page rules tour on first launch, with a clean illustration for each rule. No videos, no walls of text — just enough to start playing. PART OF JUST PLAY Just Number Chain is the eighth game in the Just Play series, after Just Sudoku, Just Puzzle, Just Yin Yang, Just Stack, Just Hanoi, Just Star Battle, and Just Tents. The series shares one design philosophy: classic logic puzzles, patiently rebuilt, in a calm voice. No ads, no streaks, no engagement loops. The interface stays out of the way; the puzzle does the talking. PLAY YOUR WAY — Tap an empty cell touching the previous number to place the next one. Tap a filled number to roll back to before that step. — A soft chain trace between consecutive numbers shows your progress at a glance. — Restart any level at any time — never costs you anything. — Soft haptics that confirm your touch without shouting. PRIVACY BY DEFAULT Just Number Chain does not collect any personal data. It works completely offline. There is no account to create, no email to enter, no servers to talk to. Your progress lives on your device, and on iCloud if you choose to sync it. FULLY LOCALIZED Available in: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Português (Brasil), Русский, العربية. For people who love the puzzle itself.
