MilliDope
Read full descriptionHide full description
MilliDope tells you how many clicks to dial for each target at your range. Step through your targets, dial each adjustment, and shoot. Your rifle, your ammunition, and your targets are configured independently. Change your load without touching your rifle. Shoot a new range without re-entering your ballistics. MilliDope keeps the complexity organised so you don't have to carry it. When a shot doesn't land where expected, tap where it hit in the spotter view. MilliDope calculates your correction and uses the deviation to refine its wind estimate — so each shot informs the next. Atmosphere matters at distance. MilliDope fetches live weather conditions automatically using your GPS location, pulling from professional meteorological services that measure conditions across your entire shooting environment — not just at your feet. It updates in the background while you're in position. Large inputs and buttons work with gloves on. All trajectory calculations run locally on your device. Share any rifle, ammunition, or range configuration as a QR code. Five drag models: G1, G5, G6, G7, and GS. Coriolis effect from your GPS latitude. Gyroscopic spin drift from your rifling twist and direction. Cant, shot angle, and barrel azimuth. Kinetic energy, Mach number, and time-of-flight at every range point. Subsonic warning included. Calibrate a real ballistic coefficient from observed behaviour No built-in bullet database — because your load data comes from your manufacturer or your own measurements, not marketing copy. Enter it once and it's yours. Always available, always up to date.
Ogive
Read full descriptionHide full description
Ogive is a ballistic calculator for long-range shooters, hunters and precision rifle competitors. It computes elevation and windage corrections for any rifle, cartridge and atmospheric condition, then trues them against the impacts you actually measured. WHO IS IT FOR? Long-range and ELR shooters working from 100 yards to beyond two miles. Hunters who need a field holdover corrected for altitude, temperature and shot angle. Competitors building dope cards and truing ballistic data against observed impacts. WHAT DOES IT CALCULATE? Ogive solves the point-mass equation using G1, G7 and custom drag models. It accounts for temperature, pressure, humidity and density altitude; Coriolis and Eotvos effects; spin drift and aerodynamic jump; powder-temperature velocity sensitivity; shot-angle cosine correction; and multi-segment wind with variable speeds and directions. Solutions are given in MOA, MRAD, inches, centimetres or scope clicks. HOW ACCURATE IS IT? The solver is checked against independently published trajectories rather than against itself. At 1000 yards it agrees with Hornady's own calculator to within 0.26 inch, and with Exbal to within 0.4 inch. WHAT IS IN THE DATABASE? 2,505 bullets and 1,943 factory loads, each read from the manufacturer's own published data with the source page and the date recorded against the row. 230 reticle models from Vortex, Nightforce, Leupold, Schmidt & Bender and others. 1,066 scope profiles with click-value calibration. WHAT FIELD TOOLS ARE INCLUDED? An interactive reticle view with computed holdovers at each hash mark. BC and muzzle velocity truing from observed impacts. Moving target lead. Maximum point-blank range. Full trajectory tables with custom range intervals. An Apple Watch companion, a Home Screen widget and Siri shortcuts. DOES IT WORK WITHOUT A SIGNAL? Yes. Every calculation runs on the device. There is no account to create and no network required to solve.
