Heart Plot
Read full descriptionHide full description
IMPORTANT: This app REQUIRES a Polar H10 heart rate sensor. Heart Plot is a specialized tool designed for the Polar H10 chest strap. It visualizes your heart's rhythm in real time using Lorenz (PoincarΓ©) plotting. By measuring the precise RR intervals (the time between two heartbeats), Heart Plot maps your heart's behavior onto an X-Y plot. This shows patterns that a simple pulse reading never reveals. SEE YOUR HEART RHYTHM IN REAL TIME β’ Live Lorenz plot: watch the pattern grow with every beat. β’ Extra beats at a glance: Heart Plot estimates premature beats and sorts them into two groups, supraventricular (SVES) and ventricular (VES) extra systoles. Counts and percentages appear below the plot. β’ Trend chart: tap the SVES/VES values to see how often extra beats occurred per 15 minutes over the whole recording. β’ Capture episodes: useful for documenting an intermittent event to discuss with your doctor. β’ Fitness & HRV: follow your heart rate variability (RMSSD) during rest or training. β’ Built for endurance: from a quick check to a 24β48 hour continuous measurement. HEAR YOUR HEART Every beat of your own heart can be played as a short tick, in your real rhythm. The sound is delayed by about 2 seconds because of Bluetooth transmission and smoothing. It also works with the screen off or the app in the background, so you can follow your heartbeat by ear without looking at the display. β’ Optional separate beep for each detected SVES or VES. You can hear a premature beat as it happens, even when the screen can't stay on. β’ Beat sound and extra-beat beep can be switched on independently. For example, you can stay silent except for extra beats. KEY FEATURES β’ High-resolution data: every RR interval straight from the Polar H10. β’ Stay-Awake mode: keeps the screen on during long measurements. β’ Session recovery: an interrupted recording can be resumed after a connection loss or app restart. β’ Load & review: open a previously recorded CSV file to view its plot, HRV and extra-beat statistics. β’ Data export: share raw data (RR intervals, timestamps, beat classification) as a CSV file via the Apple Share Sheet for Excel, Python or R. β’ Free to use: no paywall. Optional tips support development. PRIVACY FIRST Your health data stays with you. Heart Plot has no accounts and no cloud servers. Measurements are stored only on your iPhone until you export or share them. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER Heart Plot is not a medical device. It is a data visualization tool for informational, educational and fitness purposes. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for an ECG or a Holter monitor. The SVES/VES detection is an estimate calculated only from the timing between heartbeats. It cannot see the shape of the ECG signal, so it can miss events, count false events and confuse the two types. Results are indicative only and must not be used for diagnosis or treatment decisions. Sound feedback is delayed and may miss or add beats; do not rely on it for monitoring in any situation where your health depends on it. Always consult a physician to interpret your data. If you feel unwell, have chest pain, dizziness or palpitations, seek medical care immediately. Do not delay or stop treatment based on this app. REQUIREMENTS β’ Polar H10 heart rate sensor (chest strap) β’ iPhone with Bluetooth
Vagal HRV
Read full descriptionHide full description
Vagal HRV measures heart rate variability (HRV) with chest-strap accuracy and trains your breathing with real-time biofeedback. FREE, NO SUBSCRIPTION No ads, no mandatory account, no hidden paid tier. Everything below is available from the first time you open the app. START WITH NO SENSOR AT ALL Guided breathing runs on the phone alone: pick a protocol (Coherence 6, Box 4-4-4-4, Relax 4-7-8, extended exhale), follow the pulsing circle, done. No strap, no account, no subscription. When you want to measure your HRV, that's when the Polar H10 comes in. KEY FEATURES β’ Guided breathing β a pulsing circle and soft tones in 4 phases, with ready-made protocols. Works with no sensor. β’ Quality-checked HRV β RMSSD, SDNN and max/mean/min heart rate from the Polar H10's true RR intervals, with artefact correction and a quality score on every reading. β’ Readiness β a score compared with your own baseline, with a green/amber/red light. β’ Cardiac coherence β see live how large your heart rate swing gets while you breathe slowly. β’ Coherence training β a daily program with a streak and a goal that grows weekly. β’ Resonance finder β sweeps 4.5 to 6.5 breaths per minute and shows which pace produces the largest heart rate swing. β’ Context tags β log sleep, alcohol, training and stress, and see how each one shows up in your own history. β’ Trends and history β 7 and 30-day averages, best time of day, CSV and PDF export. β’ 6 languages, light and dark themes. WHY A CHEST STRAP? Watches and rings estimate heart rate from light (PPG). The Polar H10 is a chest strap that measures beat-to-beat intervals directly, the gold standard for HRV β far more reliable RMSSD and SDNN. POLAR H10 SENSOR REQUIRED FOR HRV This app does not collect HRV from the iPhone itself. Measurement requires a Polar H10 chest strap, sold separately by Polar, connected over Bluetooth. Guided breathing needs no sensor. PRIVACY Your data stays on your device. We do not send your measurements to any server. You decide when to export or share. IMPORTANT NOTICE Vagal HRV is for wellness and sporting purposes only. It is not a medical device, does not perform electrocardiography, and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. Always consult a physician before making decisions about your health. Polar and Polar H10 are trademarks of Polar Electro Oy. This app is not affiliated with Polar Electro Oy.
