About

Dash Chat Messenger

Dash Chat is in pre-alpha - please don't rely on it for everyday messaging yet. We're building a messaging app designed to keep working when the internet doesn't, and to keep your conversations private. We're not there yet - this is early, experimental software under active development. The app does not currently implement any encryption mechanism for messages. What it does today: - One-to-one direct messages. - Pair the mobile app with the desktop Dash Chat app, which runs a local server on your WiFi network. - Create group chats, add members to those groups and send group messages. - Send images and voice messages. - Peer-to-peer synchronization that doesn't require internet access. What we're building toward: - Group chat member management. - Private, end-to-end encrypted conversations. Expect bugs and breaking changes - we'd love your feedback.

About

GetSafeNow

GetSafeNow is private communication built for people who take privacy seriously. Every message, voice call, video call, and shared file is end-to-end encrypted. Only you and the people you communicate with can read your messages. Not us. Not anyone we work with. Not anyone who compromises our servers. WHY GETSAFENOW IS DIFFERENT GetSafeNow is built on Matrix, the open communications standard chosen by NATO, the United Nations, the US Department of Defense, the German and French governments, and 16+ national governments for secure communications. We use the same cryptographic libraries that secure those enterprise and government deployments. What that means in practice: the encryption isn't a marketing feature. It's the foundation. There's no option to turn it off. Every conversation is encrypted, all the time. KEY FEATURES - End-to-end encrypted text messages — one-on-one and group conversations - Encrypted voice and video calls - Group voice and video calls - Encrypted file and photo sharing - Encrypted key backup so you never lose your messages - Custom usernames — no phone number required to sign up - No ads, no tracking, no data mining YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL GetSafeNow doesn't make money from your data because we can't see it. We make money from subscriptions. That's the only business model. Your messages don't get analyzed for advertising, sold to data brokers, or used to train AI. If law enforcement requested your data, what we could provide is encrypted information that's mathematically meaningless without keys we don't have. FREE AND PAID OPTIONS Use GetSafeNow free to message, call, and share with other GetSafeNow users. Upgrade to a paid private server for your own dedicated communications infrastructure. You become the administrator — invite your team, manage permissions, control which other servers your server federates with. Ideal for organizations, families, or anyone wanting maximum control. GETTING STARTED Sign up with just a username and password — no phone number, no email, no identifying information required. If someone invited you to their private server, use the setup code they shared to join automatically. ABOUT SECURITY GetSafeNow uses the Olm and Megolm cryptographic libraries from matrix-rust-sdk. The strength of your encryption doesn't depend on trusting us — it depends on the underlying mathematics, which is open, audited, and verifiable.
